double down and by 2x ?

Also, I think we should do something to change our luck, like each of the 29 of us picks one different number.  Kee can pick two numbers to get us to an even 30 numbers.

I will group them into 10 groups with three numbers each and we play each of these combos.

1-2-3-4-5-6
1-2-3-7-8-9
1-2-3-10-11-12
1-2-3-13-14-15
1-2-3-16-17-18
1-2-3-19-20-21
1-2-3-22-23-24
1-2-3-25-26-27
1-2-3-28-29-30
4-5-6-7-8-9
etc....

That would be 45 tickets... I think..

If we hit any set of three numbers, we stand a greater chance to win more $$.
No clue what you are talking about... and I would not subject brun to filling out tickets.

I would do it.

Let's say from example above that
1 = #23 to be filled in on ticket to be chosen by one of us.  Everyone of us chooses one number.
2 = #41 ......
3 = #49.....

So 1-2-3 from above would be marked 23-41-49

4-5-6 would be another set of three different numbers.

And so on...

Idaho a no tax state?

no... but not high...

I've never understood this part of this.   Why wouldn't each one of us just be taxed according to the state we live in if we win?
Depends on how we handle the payouts... but the likelyhood of being charged taxes in both the state it was won AND the state you live in is high

A jackpot like this generates a lot of interest so the amount probably changes quickly.

Right now, after the 24% automatically withheld fed tax, looks like >$14M ea.

Of course you must satisfy your tax obligation your state of residence as well your specific fed tax obligation.
