I'm usually pretty good at gift giving but am at a loss this year. What are you giving your wife and/or girlfriend this year?

My wife added the "Fifty shades of Grey" book trilogy to her wish list.. :pickle:

Had a calendar made at Kinkos a couple years ago of me and the kids over the years. I think I might need to do this again this year.

... just got her license (at 28) ... looking into a restored El Camino :drive:

I'll toss in some Isotoners, for good measure

purse, kindle fire, the new dyson vacuum cleaner, plane tickets to hawaii/caribbean (havent decided which).

I bought her a Kindle Fire last year.

This year I'm buying her a Kindle Fire HD.

It what she wants, and the kids can putz with the other one.

I got those for my wife on her birthday. When she opened up the box, you'd have thought I punched her in the throat.Of course, she's ready them all. Twice. For xmas, I bought her a bottle of her favorite perfume and a Cape Cod Bracelet.

- concert tickets for a show in April (dinner, drinks, etc. pre-show) - happy when she opens the gift, and then something to look forward to in the spring.

- new iPhone case

- fancy coffee (i don't drink it, but she's got a monkey on her back for the bean)

- GC for a mani-pedi at her favorite place

when in doubt, always check her Pintrest page. :nohomo:

Marmot Gravity Jacket

Stephen king's "dr sleep" hardcover

Nice set of leather gloves

Working on one last item

I am taking the lazy route out of this and getting her a coach bag. I just hope that she likes the one I pick out (not a chance).

Some belt she picked out

Sunglasses to match her belt and coat

A tumbler mug to match her belt, sunglasses and coat.

A Pandora bracelet and charms.

I'm getting her favorite watch fixed (been broke for years) and her diamond tennis bracelet fixed (missing diamond, clasp needed work)

Diamond earrings.

Kindle HD Fire would be a good gift.

I got my wife the Kindle HD last year and she uses it A LOT.

Bought her an elliptical machine (picked it out together, so she knows it is coming). I'd like to get her something somewhat cheap too, which she can open on Christmas and that does not scream "get in shape," but I'm at a loss.

Got my wife a kayak. We camp a lot, and her mom has one. Wife likes to kayak.

Seemed like a win-win. Gets her away from camp with my mother in law for hours at a time while I drink beer and fish.

A Chi Hair straightener

Some tear-jerker poem about mother/son and a picture of our son at the bottom

Northface fleece

Nike Fuel band

This is actually a very good idea. My wife doesn't have a Pintrest page, however I'm sure there has to be a Pintrest page dedicated to all the crap women want for Xmas, right?

Maybe someone who knows more about that site could link it if they find it.

try the google machine with some variant of "Most Popular Pins in Pintrest."

i got this

Coworker of mine works at Coach as a side gig. She's hooking me up with her employee discount.

So far got the GF a coach bag and leather gloves. She's a basketball fan so thinking of throwing a pair of tickets for us too.

I've never looked at her pinterest page but just found it.

Holy crap, that's a goldmine. She has a section of clothing and other items she likes, with web links. Xmas shopping done but from now own I'm going there to figure it out

Took her to Disney world. She's presently riding rides while I type this as I sit on a rock bored. The things we do for love.

Concert tickets for February ( Concert falls 2 days before our anniversary so that works out well)

New bath robe

Thing that holds k cups

CDs of band I got tickets for (figure I will wrap them all together in a nice little package)

protip: It's not Christmas yet. Taking a trip and calling it an "early" Christmas present doesn't count for anything. You're not truly going to stick with this, are you?

Christmas jammies.

It can't be mentioned enough to go check out her pinterest page. That website is a gold mine of crap she already likes/wants and you come off like you are thoughtful and pay attention.

I'm banking on the bracelet and the earrings being solid. The other presents I'm giving her from the kids, so if they flop it's not really on me. She loves them so she will still love the gifts.

This is a great idea, but I'm not real sure if my fiance pins anything besides recipes and interior decorating stuff. I'll have to check it out.
