That's because the people making them are dips. The jokes are starting to get a little cheesy in here.
Yeah, not the best trio ever. That final was pretty tough though — I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Leadville before tonight.I guess someone had to win that train wreck. Also, John Phillips Sousa had a major makeover sometime. WTF?

The guy on the right could barely contain his laughter when she said Sousa.I guess someone had to win that train wreck. Also, John Phillips Sousa had a major makeover sometime. WTF?
She had an equally stupid response just before the break, guessing that the 7-letter stone countertop was Formica.I guess someone had to win that train wreck. Also, John Phillips Sousa had a major makeover sometime. WTF?
I was just going to post that. Who thinks Formica (TM) is an igneous rock? She had an equally stupid response just before the break, guessing that the 7-letter stone countertop was Formica.
Obviously a rocket scientistI was just going to post that. Who thinks Formica (TM) is an igneous rock?
That really concerned me. Are our astronauts in jeopardy?Obviously a rocket scientist
I don't know, but I do know some realtors who would love to sell her a house with fancy Formica counters.I was just going to post that. Who thinks Formica (TM) is an igneous rock?
I got it, maybe because the first thing that popped into my head was Galena Park. That made me think lead, and the altitude said Colorado.I'm still mad that I missed the US Cities final question. I thought I had it nailed with "Silverton" (another Colorado mining town in the mountains).
(premature celebration) (oops, wrong)
It's always a good feeling when all the 3 contestants miss it and you come up with the correct answer.I got it, maybe because the first thing that popped into my head was Galena Park. That made me think lead, and the altitude said Colorado.
I'd been hearing this too, sounds like he's been smoking a carton or two of cigarettes a day.Alex Trebek's voice sounds really bad sometimes. I wonder how he's doing.
Yeah, when they revealed the clue I said to my wife, "Well, they'll all get that."Tecumseh said:HTF did they all miss FJ tonight?

Just an FYI: you can always get the answer/question at https://thejeopardyfan.com/.Thanks. Mr R had no problem with that.

In a category named "radioactive elements"Nearly choked on my dinner when the guy said “What is potassium?” to the question about a leading Kazakhstan export.
and he won it in customary Holzhauer fashion...over before Final Jeopardy round.James Holzhauer is on tonight's show.
It was odd. Don't the top scoring losers continue on in the tournament? Maybe there was some threshold she needed to get past to make it onto the top scorer board for losers???Why the heck did that woman make that stupid wager in Final? Drives me crazy.
The contestants don't know what that level will be, especialy since all that matches hadn't been played yet. Historically, about 16K is a pretty good amount. 13K is marginal at best.It was odd. But they should know where the current mark is for those who have already played, no? Anyway, I was just speculating trying to find some sort of justification...The contestants don't know what that level will be, especialy since all that matches hadn't been played yet. Yeah. You gotta push all in there. I hope she misses the cut for that blunder. Why the heck did that woman make that stupid wager in Final? Drives me crazy.
They aren’t aware of other scores in tourney. 14k is a score that will get a wildcard most of the time. However, the 7k she would have been left with if wrong wasn’t likely to get the job done, so it’s better to bet big enough to ensure the wild card. As she’s in second with two games left, she’s still likely to make it.Galileo said:But they should know where the current mark is for those who have already played, no? Is it just me or did the questions in this game seem easier than the those in the last two games? The first two nights I was able to answer maybe 20-25%. This game I was able to answer about 60-70%.Galileo said:and he won it in customary Holzhauer fashion...over before Final Jeopardy round.
