I'll try to get everyone contacted in January to see if they're in for another year.  If so, we'll then set a keeper deadline and auction date.  If someone leaves, we'll look for a new owner or owners if multiple and have a keeper draft if multiple.

Trades are open.

In.

Should have some time this afternoon to put together a new Google Sheet with current rosters and keeper prices.  Will take a little doing to figure out years for the sheet, but it's doable, I think.  Just a refresher on keeper rules:

Keepers can be kept for up to 5 years as follows:

Year 1 -- The year you acquire player in auction or FAAB

Year 2 -- Keep for same price as auction/FAAB

Year 3 -- Keep for auction/FAAB price +$5

Year 4 -- Keep for Year 3 price +$5 more

Year 5 -- Keep for Year 4 price +$5 more -- last year you can keep them.

Are we looking to go back to 14 teams, and if so, how does that work? Or we going to go with 13, or down to 12.

Maybe @Bogart wants to pay me a vig for the wonderful job I did with that trainwreck in year one of playing fantasy baseball.  :coffee:

Preference would be to roll with 13 again, if possible.

I absolutely own you drinks and/or a Ranger game. That needs to happen this year, I dropped the ball last year.

It's all good - but no question.  I'll take the and!   Drinks we should do in my hood, as my alcoholic tendencies have me as a regular at two places (one straight forward pub, one sophisticated but not at all doochy lounge, both here in Uptown down the block from me).   Maybe look to catch some random early game where we can get some decent but cheap seats, and we should definitely hit up the O's series in August, heat be damned.

To be clear, this is the price these guys would be kept at this year.  Reaching the final year for some year 5 guys! (Looking at you, @HellToupee)

Added to OP as well.

Just an early /ANNOUNCE

I will be travelling 3/20-3/29, so if you can work around me, it would be appreciated.

I will also be travelling 2/13-4/17 (2019) so if you could work around me, it would also be appreciated.

Not sure. Haven’t started looking because we can’t trade.

You looking for anything in particular?

Thought we could always trade, but these are guys who are available.  Ideally I'd look to get a 3B, or improve at MI, but open to anything.  Would take any position back in a me give 2 to get 1, as I have more than 11 guys I'd consider keeping. Would certainly move one of my catchers.

Player YR	Cost
Buster Posey	2	15
Evan Gattis	2	7
Javier Báez 	3	10
Jed Lowrie	2	1
Adrián Béltre	2	17
Billy Hamilton 	5	29
Randal Grichuk	2	2

Yu Darvish 	3	18
Aaron Nola 	3	15
Drew Pomeranz	2	1
Lance McCullers	4	13
Chase Anderson	2	3

I have 10 solid, set in stone keepers.

1B Freddie Freeman
3B Justin Turner
CI Carlos Santana
2B Jose Peraza
SS Francisco Linder
MI Trea Turner
OF Nelson Cruz
P Corey Kluber
P Felipe Rivero
P Brad Hand

That’s 10 keepers.

Potentials for last 2 spots:
Matt Carpenter $26
Odubel Herrera $14
Aaron Hicks $4

Kyle Hendricks $11
Zack Godley $5
Charlie Morton $4
Blake Parker $1
Tommy Kahnle $1

I can keep two from the list of 8 at the bottom. I probably wouldn’t move anyone from the top list of 10. If anyone is interested in 2-1, 3-1 or even 4-1, if the deal is right, PM or text me.

Looking at trade talks today, been mashedly crazy busy week.

I let Scherzer go last year - didn't exactly know what I was doing though.

My decisions are far more subtle.  Like which/both/none of Segura $11 and Baez $10, or my $10-$15 dollar pitchers with question marks (but upside? I think?)
