Serious Biz Dynasty Year 17 - Plenty of talent on the come (10 Viewers)

Are we doing the Comp draft this week then?  I'm in India for work starting Friday through the 16th.  Can work around it if need be, but my picks may be slow during that time.

CB draft only took a couple days last year, assuming we get all lists in today we should be able to finish before Friday departure.

Thanks to whoever entered the protected lists to the Google sheets.

The draft is go whenever Jake wants to start.

Reminder about the rules:

  1. Four rounds
  2. Non-snake order (see Google sheet)
  3. Draft pool includes unprotected players, CBS FAs (including first year players drafted in 2018) and amateur/international FAs.   This is the only opportunity to roster the latter until next year's draft.
  4. Teams can only lose three unprotected players.
  5. There's no need to drop a player from your 40 man roster when you make your pick.  We'll all cut back to 40 before the waivers run.

Sorry PIK, didn't mean to crimp your style. It was between Gorman and India for me. Both have their pros/cons but I would've been happy with either. Good pick!

It's cool.  I was mad when our rules changed and I didn't get Gorman as an amateur last year.   I was just chasing.  There was a third guy on my radar that could fall to later rounds I want. We will see.

It's funny seeing guys I cut turn out to be kept. Kopech and Joc jumped out at me. Posey was the worst. Yordan Alvarez and Pache last draft. Greene and Sixto were essentially cuts as I was afraid of injury and not keeping either.

I agree. It's funny seeing two Top 30 prospects kept. Hilarious!
Funny meaning I misjudged the guys.  Posey especially. The ones I traded you I would have loved to keep, but couldn't keep them all.  2/3 of my team is top 30 prospects.
