Jesus ####### Christ, Bradley!

Holy hell that was horrendous. :X

That aside, man they've looked good.  Dempsey coming back to defend was awesome.

Brooks is like a ####### mind reader out there.  Hope his arm is OK.

JJJ looks off, but covering well on defense.

Wood's first touch has looked fantastic tonight. He's going to score!

Uh, neither. I have no problem with Deuce or Wood in there. For Bedoya or Zardes easily.

A 4-4-3 puts Wood and Deuce out of position.  And while Pulisic is listed at MF by the USMNT, we've no evidence that he's able to cover the ground that those guys do.

They are playing a 4-4-2. Pulisic's position is at MF, both for USMNT and Dortmund if I'm not mistaken.  And with the space Ecuador is giving them, he would wreak absolute havoc on that wing.

Bedoya is just fine and has lots of value to this team if you don't have better options.

We have better options.

I'm a pretty aggressive fella and I think you have to play to win the game and not play prevent, but I'm not pulling Bedoya for Pulisic just yet.  Maybe a bit later into the second half.

I'm not sure how much you can put on Bedoya, but Antonio Valencia was virtually silent for that entire half.  Bedoya has spent a lot of time tracking back.  Yeah he blew that chance late but he's a lot more versatile than Pulisic, in a game where the US need some versatility on that wing.  IMO.

Wood has been spectacular, not just this game, but throughout. I think Dempsey's recent threats are due to Wood and the attention he's commanding.

Brooks and Wood most important guys so far.  Deuce and JJJ just behind.
