Morris does not look like a soccer player but he is strangely effective.

It would be nice to get one more before half. The end the US will attack in the second half is starting to look like a war zone.

True, he looks too “barrel chested” for a soccer guy but he makes some good runs and can find the back of the net.

really nice to see Morris so confident on his left now that he is willing to drive a cross. What an improvement.

I am very pleased with his development. We really could not expect more (especially at his age where players rarely improve something so basic).
I still want to see the team get to the point where Morris is a first choice sub and not a first choice starter.

I want to see more too, but we have to acknowledge being the only striker against a complete bunker is not fun for any player.

there was one shot of the camera side of the field which looked like a bigger stand and it was full so I could see some where around that number.

that was the play of the game for me. US up 4 goals and just had 9 guys sprinting back on defense like their life depended on it. That is fabulous to see

None of them are under too much pressure, so grains of salt and all, but I've really like yieills grit and defensive closing ability.

But you either care about the other stuff like shape, spacing, creating chances, ball movement, or not. It's against a crap team, but they're doing it at least. My expectations have dropped so far I actually wasn't expecting it
But yeah- no whammies here.every one walk off healthy and it's a win. (yedlin looked like he took a knock right before coming out)
