Kim Kardashian says slut shaming God made her fat (1 Viewer)

Has to be somebody's fault

Seriously though, I bet there are some pretty vain mothers out there who resent their kids for the weight gain.

I'm an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive. I am a confident woman, but I didn’t just arrive confident – it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now.

I’d think God was doing this for a reason. He was saying: ‘Kim, you think you’re so hot, but look what I can do to you.’ My body just went crazy. After five months I swore I’d never get pregnant again. I got so huge and it felt like someone had taken over my body.

I’d be sitting there, nearly 200 lbs, crying and swearing this will never happen again, and sometimes I’d actually be laughing about it.
Guess what, somebody did take over your body.

And this doesn't sound like a quote you would want to share with your child some day. "Yeah, basically I wish I never got pregnant with you because it made me fat".

No hiding this quote either. It's out there, it's never going away

It sounds like the OP is just as interested in ripping religious belief as he is in ripping Kim Kardashian. I have no problems at all ripping her, but millions of Americans believe that God has a personal interest in their lives and makes decisions on their behalf. So what?

What are you two going on about? Is that a quote from her, because I dont see it?

The vanity is the problem

Good to see god is more concerned about adding a few pounds to her fat ### instead of taking care of some serious issues. What a swell guy.

Um...it is her quote from the linked article in the OP.

Except she didnt say that. She said she'd never do it again. Thats a far leap to suggest she wouldnt want her child IMO.

i used to make this same argument . But it's a poor one. Most Christians believe in a personal God who, being omnipotent, is just as concerned with their lives as He is with world hunger. Think of all the athletes who praise God after a victory .

God makes decisions to make people fat?

Most christians define god however it suits them best.

I find her personal beliefs silly.

God did not make you fat, Little Debbie did that with help from Mrs. Butterworth, Marie Callender and Betty Crocker. I'm guessing Ben & Jerry also had something to do with it.

I think I get what you're saying (it's no secret nor shameful that women do not enjoy being pregnant), but do you not sense that KK resents her child? (Maybe I'm overreacting based on her reputation) That resentment and the fact that she'll never be able to hide it from her child is what I was referring to.

Then again.. if it does turn out that KK and Kanye's child has a problem with vanity, she never had a chance to begin with.

Hey let's psychoanalize a moron with a fat ### who's only famous because she made a porno. The #### is the matter with you people.

"Ladies, don't ask us if a dress makes you look fat. It's not the dress that makes you look fat, it's the fat that makes you look fat."

If he exists he probably is - not doing much about world hunger now (either), is he...

So not really at all then?

 God was trying to end world hunger, but fatty kept eating everything in sight.

Why is this any more ridiculous than anything else people attribute or credit to an invisible cloud surfer?

Religious people have a different take on that.

As an atheist, I thank Norman Bourlaug for making a major dent in world hunger. I thank Jonas Salk for curing polio. Religious Christians, on the other hand, thank God for guiding Bourlaug and Salk. (Though unfortunately for Bourlaug, who was irreligious, and for Salk, who was Jewish, their amazing accomplishments on behalf of humanity don't save them from an afterlife of eternal damnation.)

It may be down 17% since the early 90'ies but there's still 842 starving people in the world. Who's omnipotent now...
