Have you had Jai Low? That's the only one of the low call IPA's that I really enjoy but I'll give this one a shot as well. Still have some Slightly Mighty and Half Hearted in the fridge...not a huge fan of those, The half hearted is better of the two though. Finally found a light beer that I really like - and not just, "it's 5,000 degrees and I just finished cutting the grass and need something cold"-like. Granted, it is still "I don't want to weigh 300 pounds"-like and not something I love.

100 cal, 5 carbs, 4% abv.
I plan to keep some of this onhand all the time.
I like Founders All Day ok.....and actually the Costco session IPA isn't too bad either.....Full sail has a hazy in their session line that's drinkable, and it comes in the lil stubby bottles which I kinda digHave you had Jai Low? Not sure if tired hands ended up distributing there, but either way I would be very up for doing some trades of tired hands for some aslin. TH now has their cans much more easily available in a store at their brewery so very easy for me to grab it.
Aslin Juan de Bolas is a top 5 beer for me.
Picked up a couple of pints of BCBS tonight
How about the cherry?Black Friday I got 4 each of Brand, Cherry Wood, Cola, and 14; as well as 2 each of 150, Blanton's, and Double Toasted.
Tried the Cola, which I was looking forward to. But was disappointed. Not bad, but kind of bland in my opinion given the amount of adjuncts added. I got mild cola on the aftertaste. I guess I was expecting this to either taste like a Jack and Coke or Coca Cola Classic -- some bite to it. But twas not the case.
Had a bottle Saturday. It’s been awhile but it was very good. I liked Hipster Rye from Odd Side better but BCBS is still really good.Picked up a couple of pints of BCBS tonight

The only variant I found locally was 14 - at $30 I wasn't willing to take a chance with it.
That one seems to get the most consistent praise so far.
I have only tried the Cola to date.

Big bad baptists are some of my favorite releases every year.Got 1 each of the BCBS for Christmas, as well as a Deths Tar, and 1 each of the new Big Bad Baptist releases. I’m a happy camper.
They are some of mine as well, although with some of them I think they try to mess around too much. The original is tough to beat for me, although I am looking forward to their “Naked”Big bad baptists are some of my favorite releases every year.

The Prop 14 is VERY good.A month after Black Friday and my local beer store still has 4 BCBS varieties available with a one bottle limit. Times have changed …
I was actually driving through VA last month and stopped at Aslin. I noticed that on their website, thought not sure how much shipping costs.Just as an FYI... it looks like Aslin is doing shipping to PA now. Ordering available through their web site to deliver there.
Nice. Will check into that.I was actually driving through VA last month and stopped at Aslin. I noticed that on their website, thought not sure how much shipping costs.
Tired Hands seems to do the same for VA also...

Is it real sweet?Last night were a few Leinenkugels Chocolate Dunkel. 3 was a good number...started the 4th and that was a mistake on the stomach.
Not so much. More of the chocolate smell and rich dark flavor than sweet to me.Is it real sweet?
I’ve got this one staring me in the face every time I open the fridge but just getting over COVID and still missing most of the taste and smell and don’t want to waste it.The Prop 14 is VERY good.
I’m a fan of the Voodoo Ranger series. Have you been to the brewery since you moved to the area?johnnycakes said:Enjoying the NFC Championship game while sipping a local brew.
No, I haven't been to the brewery. But that's a great idea for some day when I'm bored stiff looking for something to do!I’m a fan of the Voodoo Ranger series. Have you been to the brewery since you moved to the area?
I use Untappd.Apologies if this has already been posted but any recommendations on an app to track the various beers you’ve tried, etc?
There is such a mass of beers out there that it is almost overwhelming keeping track of them all (especially for those outside your local area).
Thanks!
