So I've got my last hard pre-marathon workout this afternoon: 3 miles at 6:44, 4-min recovery, 2.5 miles at 6:27, 4-min recovery, 2 miles at 6:15, 4-min recovery, and then 6 x 1/4-mile at 5:56 pace with 1-minute recovery.
Anyway, I'm going straight from work, and I've got appointments out of the office all day, so I've got a cooler in my car with 2 shots of concentrated beet juice on ice...
