Some good bedroom advice from reddit

"For guys who have issues with finishing early, when you feel it getting close, just grab her in a headlock so she can't move and start growling like an injured ox while you punch yourself in the jaw.

Works every time and it will drive her wild. But be careful not to hurt her during this procedure."

You can finish too early?

Jury duty tomorrow in the am. :sadbanana:
wtf is up with this ####? my wife answered her summons and it says call after 5. she does. a recorded message says she is in pool b, or some such name. call tomorrow after 5 to see if she is needed. rinse repeat for the next 5 days unless she is called in.

and then there was pool a. call by 12 o'clock and you are due by 1pm that same day!! wtf??? you have an hour to report? so you just tell your employer to #### off in the middle of the day?

and then there's pool b, they have less than 15 hours to notify their employer they won't be in the next day if they're called in from pool b?

Here in Hillsborough County it's similar. 8:00 and 10:00 call based on your number. Naturally my number is low so 8 am for me and I am pretty vanilla so my juror potential is less than likely. There are probably like 500+ people here already.

I was called for federal jury duty a while back. I called in five mornings in a row and was informed each times that I wasn't needed. On Friday, I was told to call in the following monday. That morning I called in and was informed I wouldn't be needed at all.

You got lucky. Those can take awhile and god bless the poor schlubs that get stuck on a federal grand jury.

My mom was on a federal jury for a triple homicide in St Paul MN. Some drug deals gone bad and revenge killing/hang stuff. We lived in a small town 80 miles from St Paul. I was 16, only child no father. She was gone M-F for like 2-3 months. Stayed at a hotel. Greatest 6 weeks of young robotos life. Home alone #####es!

Yeah, no doubt. I can't imagine being selected for one of those grand juries that is looking into something really big and complex. They are probably stuck serving for months.

did she get the summons the day before being required to report?

if not- she had some time to tell her job that she was up against a fubar week, and to be prepared.

Terrible kid update:

They're still terrible.

They refuse to take any real responsibility for their conduct, while simultaneously refusing to defend it. When they are asked a question that makes them uncomfortable, they clam up faster than little Henry Hill taking his first pinch in Goodfellas.

The moral of the story is, as always, never procreate with a crazy person. You'd think that would have been self-evident...

ETA:

On the bright side, our yard has never looked better.

Mrs. SLB is FB friends with a lot of people here. To her credit, she has never once asked to join in. I did notice the other day though that she is FB friends with Shuke. Never in a million years....

For the first time in my life, I purchased legal mary jane. Gotta tell you...it was kind of nice.
It is pretty awesome, really. I went in one of the stores the other day and they have a crazy selection now. When they first opened they had a couple of kinds and both were massively overpriced. Now the prices are much more reasonable.

Got a keg of beer for the first time since I was in college. Man, what a treat!
Don't you owe us some updates about soccer practice?
I think I do.

My sister took my boys Friday night so I had a whole night all to myself. And what did I do? I made a big old batch of Judge Smail's Legendary Chili, only I tweaked and perfected the recipe and made the best batch ever. Had a few beers, nothing crazy. I'm just an ordinary average guy these days.

Soccer on Saturday was fun. Team notched a 1-1 tie, so we remain undefeated this spring. :flex:

Poker party Saturday night was fun. Had about 15-20 people over, served up my chili, cooked sausages from Otto's and drank perhaps the best keg of beer I've ever had - Ft. George Beta IPA. Deeeeeeeeelicious. Weather was perfect. 10 people stayed for poker, I came in 4th. Really cool night.

Yesterday, I woke up at 10am, cleaned the house and since my boys were with their mom, I decided to drive up to Vancouver, WA, buy some legal green then continue north to the casino. Played a little BJ, won $100, came home, enjoyed some smoke, kegged beer and then took an evening stroll......

to the nudy bar. Which was deader than dead on a Sunday. Had a beer, didn't really enjoy the one dancer dancing and took a stroll back home.

TA DA!
