Another killing at the hands of the Police (4 Viewers)

Absolute $hit show in Louisville.  Police murdered a man.  It came to light that the body cameras were turned off during the incident.  Police chief has been fired.  People are calling for the Mayor to resign.

Every cop should have a body camera in 2020.  It being off should never be an excuse.

Why was the police chief fired?  Did he order the cameras off or fired for not arresting the shooting officer?   Why do people want the Mayor to resign?

Seattle police have been hyperagressive since the WTO riots.   They have a history of excessive force.  Why would they want to help document it?
But to come from the top as policy? Makes no sense other than the obvious. WTF.

There's a peaceful protest going on near our local mall in Jensen Beach. They were initially on mall grounds, were asked to move, and did so peacefully. It's heartbreaking to hear the message of people losing their lives due to police brutality, and it has to stop.

Law and Order President.

Governor's to use the National Guard to "dominate" the streets.  If they don't do it the Military will.

It's about time!

Guess he is going back to the old divide and conquer playbook. Suppose this will play well to his base, as evidenced by this thread. But missed a chance to actually bring the country together.

A week long protest is long enough.  You can resume your regularily scheduled protests after the Anarchy is taken care of.  You are welcome.
Or we can continue protesting police brutality for as long as we have to. Trump has abdicated his leadership role when he threatened the American people's right to peaceably assemble.

What??? Why?

Body cameras are probably the best form of evidence for the actual truth.

Their stated reason, for Woz's benefit, is that officers are prohibited by the SPD Police Manual from filming lawful demonstrations.

I'll just leave that right there.
