Same here... per “source”I just got an alert that Fournette was waived. Wow if true.
Just a gut feeling that he goes somewhere that kills his value and somebody else's.What are likely landing spots if true?
As someone who grudgingly took him as my RB1, let's hope not!Just a gut feeling that he goes somewhere that kills his value and somebody else's.
I could see Washington (well, they might not be smart enough), Tampa Bay, New England, Pittsburgh or Chicago. What are likely landing spots if true?
they're tanking for Trevorwtf, that came out of nowhere. why wouldnt you just get another year out of him and then let him go? must have done something as it makes no sense otherwise
Committee most likely with Armstead getting the most touches in the beginning.Who gets the carries in Jacksonville. Armstead?
they got a 4th out of ryan pace for foles, you;d think he could have gotten a 2nd for fourtnetteI could see Washington (well, they might not be smart enough), Tampa Bay, New England, Pittsburgh or Chicago.
If they could have they would have. They obviously couldn’t even get a 7th.they got a 4th out of ryan pace for foles, you;d think he could have gotten a 2nd for fourtnette

Chicago is my guess. They have nobody of note behind Montgomery, who is hurt already. Or, he can do what Davonta Freeman seems to be doing and just wait for a RB to go down somewhere.Just a gut feeling that he goes somewhere that kills his value and somebody else's.
they have Chris Thompson as well and seems like he has had a good campWho gets the carries in Jacksonville. Armstead?
Not unpopular with me. My leagues have been all blind bidding only for 10+ years and everyone loves itVery unpopular opinion, but this is an example of why I believe that all add drops should be done via waivers or bidding. The scramble to the phone when news breaks should not ultimately determine your league. I am prepared for all of snarky rejoinders, but that doesn’t change the fact that I am right.
A 2nd?! Oh no way that was going to happen.they got a 4th out of ryan pace for foles, you;d think he could have gotten a 2nd for fourtnette
Ozigbo has had a great camp also.they have Chris Thompson as well and seems like he has had a good camp
No one was giving close to a 2nd for Fournette.they got a 4th out of ryan pace for foles, you;d think he could have gotten a 2nd for fourtnette
They've been tanking for that number 1 pick for years.they're tanking for Trevor
Can't even get a 2nd for him in fantasy! No one was giving close to a 2nd for Fournette.

All my leagues are this way. Not sure why you think most people are against this? Not unpopular with me. My leagues have been all blind bidding only for 10+ years and everyone loves it
Bears are 19th in waiver order, pretty sure he will get claimed before that.Chicago is my guess. They have nobody of note behind Montgomery, who is hurt already. Or, he can do what Davonta Freeman seems to be doing and just wait for a RB to go down somewhere.

I got Rashod Bateman in devy. Well, I traded him for the 1.2 in the devy draft (separate from rookie draft) and I chose Bateman. Can't even get a 2nd for him in fantasy!
Let's see where he lands first. Probably a 2 down thumper/GL back now or he's going to jail. LolOn 6/5/2020 at 6:49 PM, Milkman said:
I'm buying all day at his current price and if I own him I'm holding. Especially if you're a contender. He could easily lead the league in rushing and his measily 3 TDs can only go up. If he scored like 3-4 more times last year he would have been RB6 or something. People's perception of his value is way off.
Probably too late
Looks like it. But Minshew might not get the memo, ala Fitzpatrick in Miami. However, I can't think of a another team that should be as bad as the Bengals were last year.they're tanking for Trevor
Fournette wouldn't be the difference, but they could end up with Lawrence.they're tanking for Trevor
I'm sure Minshew will be fine but he has an average supporting cast and their defense is the worst in the league.Looks like it. But Minshew might not get the memo, ala Fitzpatrick in Miami. However, I can't think of a another team that should be as bad as the Bengals were last year.
Well he was surely better than what they have left.Fournette wouldn't be the difference, but they could end up with Lawrence.

"We couldn't get anything. Fifth, sixth ... we couldn't get anything." -- #Jaguars HC Doug Marrone on attempts to trade Leonard Fournette.
I doubt it.Well he was surely better than what they have left.
No comp picks when players are released.Man they really wanted him gone. Wouldn't this disqualify them now for get comp pick? (Only reason I thought they kept him on roster after not getting any/adequate offers)

Jags release RB Leonard Fournette. Last year, he had:
- 1152 rushing yards, 4.3 yards/run
- 522 rec yards
- 31 runs of 10+ yards (5th in league)
- 3.34 avg yards after contact (5th in league)
Yeah, that's why I don't understand this decision. Why free up cap for this season when FA is over and you're tanking anyway. By declining his 5th year, they could have just let him walk and get comp picks. This felt more like a personal decision than a business one.No comp picks when players are released.
You can roll over unused cap space to the following year, but this wasn’t a cap-based decision. This was all about them not wanting him around anymore.Yeah, that's why I don't understand this decision. Why free up cap for this season when FA is over and you're tanking anyway. Jaguars coach Doug Marrone says Leonard Fournette's release is all about what he's seen on field during camp -- not locker room issues. He feels like group of backs behind Fournette can give team better chance to win. Doing it now gives them chance to get rotation figured out.
