Sermon is inactive. Mostert might hit 25 touches today. I'd consider him as an easy top-10 RB this week.Looks like Vegas is setting the over/under on Sermon rushing attempts at 10 and catches at 1.5. Good call.

Mostert has ONE 20 carry game in his career if memory serves. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.Sermon is inactive. Mostert might hit 25 touches today. I'd consider him as an easy top-10 RB this week.

No way he gets over 20. Shanahan isn't stupidSermon is inactive. Mostert might hit 25 touches today. I'd consider him as an easy top-10 RB this week.
20 seems high, but I do feel 150 yards coming on. I hope to see Elijah Mitchell get several touches, as I think his long term outlook is very good.No way he gets over 20. Shanahan isn't stupid
What's the deal with some (CBSports for one) rating Hasty higher than Mitchell? For the season.20 seems high, but I do feel 150 yards coming on. I hope to see Elijah Mitchell get several touches, as I think his long term outlook is very good.
You are correct, though he had 31 touches in that game, so I don't know if that means they are completely opposed to the idea of 20+.Mostert has ONE 20 carry game in his career if memory serves. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Raheem Mostert exited Week 1 against the Lions with a knee injury and is questionable to return.
This is why the Niners drafted Trey Sermon and Elijah Mitchell over the offseason. Mostert simply can't ever stay on the field. Prior to leaving, Mostert rushed two times for 20 yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game. With Sermon inactive, Mitchell and JaMycal Hasty are next up.

Confirmed on Twitter by SchefterJust got a sleeperbot update, Mostert questionable to return (knee).
Unverified
Mosert = Elijah PriceJust some guys you can never trust to stay healthy.
I'm kind of reminded by the WR on the Chargers who had one year he was good with a bunch of TDs, but had several ACL surgeries before his breakout and then a big knee injury the year after. Knew how that story would end the whole time.Mosert = Elijah Price
Not out again on this drive? Can pretty much count him out I guess. The backup doing what Mostert was supposed to do.
Both these guys looking great as well.Nope, and when Mitchell went out, Hasty came in.
Both these guys looking great as well.
For us!And FWIW, after Hasty scored they showed Mostert on the sideline standing and smiling.
I think it's a case of "we are playing the Lions, let's just be cautious." Any back in that system is gonna gash Detroit, so why rush him back?

49ers’ RB Raheem Mostert now ruled out for remainder of today’s game with a knee injury.
Same here.Love this guy when he plays. Never again after this. Probably dropping him next week.
Yes. And he’s $$ when he does. Can’t predict this. If you didn’t know he came with a buyer beware label…….we’ll, that’s on you.Has this guy ever made it through an entire game. At this point I'd be surprised if he didn't get hurt in a game.
With the way things are going in Baltimore, who knows if he doesn’t end up getting another look?Wow, this thread starts with a buck Allen reference

I'm not foolish enough to draft him.Yes. And he’s $$ when he does. Can’t predict this. If you didn’t know he came with a buyer beware label…….we’ll, that’s on you.
RAHEEM MOSTERT RB, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
The Athletic's Matt Barrows reports 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said there would be no firm hierarchy in the team's backfield this season.
Kyle has gone Full Shanahan, seemingly rolling with a backfield chaos strategy where any running back could be the workhorse at any time. Stater Raheem Mostert left Week 1's game against the Lions with a knee injury, giving rookie Elijah Mitchell the bellcow role. Mitchell ran for 104 yards on 19 carries against Detroit. JaMycal Hasty's lone carry was a three-yard touchdown. Mitchell took over for Mostert because Trey Sermon was stunningly inactive. It remains to be seen when, or if, Sermon will be on the active roster. The 49ers backfield shapes up as a nonstop fantasy nightmare in 2021.

Chipped cartilage in his knee - saying out around 8 weeks

I guess it depends on one's roster, but unless all the other guys are hurt by then, there may not be much of role left for him to come back to.Chipped cartilage in his knee - saying out around 8 weeks

That's almost drop worthy

For fantasy purposes I’m glad (Sorry Raheem IRL). Can drop him now and will decide how much to bid on this new guy.Chipped cartilage in his knee - saying out around 8 weeks

On leagues without IR, hes definitely droppable and I will do so. On leagues with 1 IR spot, hes a hold for now but if injuries or COVID piles up on your team he may be an eventual drop. Either way he will be dropped by most teams sooner or later IMO.That's almost drop worthy
This is why I drafted Sermon everywhere I could get him, even in redraft in the sixth/seventh.
You can all laugh now with those rolling emojis.
It will most likely change on a weekly basis (Hasty mixed in)... because Shanahan.I also drafted Sermon wherever I could...but is he the guy there now or is it Mitchell?
