Bernie Sanders HQ! *A decent human being. (8 Viewers)

The percentage really doesn't matter.  He needs to pick up delegates in the margins in particular districts.  Going to be tough as he needs to get to 58.4% inhalf the districts just to win 4-2.

Like everything in life the answer is somewhere in the middle. Pure capitalism or pure socialism are destined to be utter failures. I'm a capitalist who believes government regulation done in the right way is not only necessary but very healthy. There are also things that are done collectively via tax and spending that make a ton of sense and either the free market would never provide them or it would be a horrible idea to have them provide them.
Agreed, financing gov't to perform it proper role in our society no doubt must be funded collectively. Making sure your pills are not poison is not the role of gov't. Prosecuting the perpetrator who poisons them is the role of gov't. Making sure your retirement is paid for, not the role of gov't. Jailing the bankers who railroaded you into investing in fraudulent or criminal enterprises is the job of the gov't.

Yeah, well i'm already dead in your example. I'd prefer the government stopped my death ahead of time instead of jailed my killer after the fact. I'm crazy that way.

33 State-wide delegates

  • 56.1% = 19-14
  • 59.1% = 20-13
53 delegates awarded  by district

  • 01, 06, 07, 08 Needs 58.4% towin 4-2
  • 02, 03 Will go 4-3 unless someone wins 64.3%
  • 05 Will go 3-2 unless someone wins 70%
  • 04 10 Delegates 55% gets 6-4
I think our floor is 46-40 which isn't good but it's the floor.  Really need to get 48-53.

CNN had a report that the Clinton people are tired of Bernie and the gloves are going to come off. They will unite the party later. The Queen is ready for her coronation and she's tired of this old coot standing in her way.
Sounds like media hype to me.  Zero reason for Hillary to change strategy now.  She's cruising to victory.

What channel?
Reporter on CNN: "They're running out of patience. They're going to begin deploying a new strategy called 'disqualify him'. They can unify the party later...now they're going to go headlong into him beginning in New York..."

I'm a gun owner, and previous republican, but what exactly did he say wrong in the daily news interview regarding guns?

Bernie's campaign manager all but conceded tonight that Bernie can't catch her but he can stop her from hitting the pledged vote target, setting up wooing the superdelegates to go with the candidate that is surging.

Problem is he is the outsider and she has the superdelegates paid off.

Remember "shame on you Barack Obama"? It's not a good look for her.
With all the disarray in the Republican party, this should be a slam dunk for her and the Democrats in November.  She's apparently going to do her damnedest to make sure it's not

82-18 for Bernie with voters 18-29. Still can't get young people on her side. He also took 1/2 of the women vote.

If i'm Bernie i'm taking this Panama story and i'm bludgeoning Hillary with it at the NY debate.
having trouble posting it, but he did in one statement, but didn't mention it during speech tonight. His press releases are great but Sanders never uses the content in speeches.

Yup.  Still 25 delegates in WA, with a total pledged delegate count of 101 where he got 72.7% of the vote.  Looks good to me

I thought Sanders best debate was in Michigan. Early on she attacked sanders and was defending corporations during it. I pray this happens in New York debate, Sanders is in trouble of playing too nice but bring out the young socialist in him and you are going to feel the wrath. Thought it was big mistake of her, she should should play nice and have a boring debate when she has the lead.

Ahhh.  Well, if Clinton's done playing around and is going to try to win, Bernie's done for now.

So there are over 40% of delegates outstanding...how is Sanders out of it?

If nomination is play, ya think the turnout in California is going to be high? Semi-open, can't be libertarian or green but unaffilateds can vote.

So there are over 40% of delegates outstanding...how is Sanders out of it?
Not out out but coming into tonight he needed like 65% of remaining delegates to surpass Hillary in pledged delegates. This doesn't count the missing Washington delegates. Tough given Hillary's hold on minorities in the big states.

Knuckleheads, there's the door, it's time for some rah rah with the Bernie crowd.

YES! Keep up that momentum! Can't stop, won't stop, keep calling and texting and facebanking and [social media] and talking up your neighbors! Not Bernie, not me, not you... us!

I just wish Trump were out of it.  Sanders would crush that primary so hard if Trump were out of it.
You mean cruz and kasich were out of it. I like how open convention is ok for republicans but if sanders can't get pledged delegates to clinch the race is over, Clinton doesn't need to have the numbers to clinch, just needs more than sanders. I'm not advocating that people's vote shouldn't decide it but media uses two standards for the two races is annoying. Sanders suggesting he wants to get super delegates is played off like a scandal.
