How did any of us go through life happily without knowing this.A great day for Jizz Hornkamp in the Netherlands with four second half goals. A great day for me learning that Jizz Hornkamp exists.

I can't even see what he did. Did he touch him? That's the David Luiz we all know and love (to hate).
Clipped his leg from behind. Denial of a goal scoring opportunity. Straight red. VAR confirmed.I can't even see what he did. Did he touch him?
I love David Luiz and will always love him, but it is easier for me now that he's playing for Arsenal. That's the David Luiz we all know and love (to hate).
yeah - one of those calls that is correct per the rule as written. Foul in the box that denies a goal scoring opportunity. They can give a yellow if he's making a play on the ball, but don't have that option here.Clipped his leg from behind. Denial of a goal scoring opportunity. Straight red. So'ton hasn't just bunkered in. But ManU just scored, so they may now.Too bad from a neutral perspective, was looking forward to this game, but could see it turn cagey and boring now.
It really is so bad. For a sport with so few goals to go to such length to take them off the board is beyond stupid. That goal for Southhampton should have stood. So dumb VAR and its lines
Then it becomes like Hockey and players obstructing the keeper? It really is so bad. For a sport with so few goals to go to such length to take them off the board is beyond stupid.
I just dont understand why offside is even required in the box. I get that you need it further out to prevent cherry picking (or screwing up the general spacing of the game by forcing defenses to play WAY back all the time to prevent it)
But once the ball within shooting distance, the defense always has like 10 guys in the box anyway. Can someone who played at a high level (or just understands it better than me) explain why "no offside in the box" would be a bad idea?
I know it will never happen (and I know that tons of futbol purists wouldn't want it to happen) but it just makes all the sense in the world to me.
I feel bad for SH, but this was defintely a game for United to use for GD and get everyone a goal to hopefully get them firing.United doing their best to get their GD back on track here. May need it to stay top 4 this year.
Reminds me of this classic Steven Gerard heat map.The guy who got the red before he'd even kicked a ball is NOT going to be popular in the locker room at halftime
Sadly had it been used for what it should be used for, CLEAR AND OBVIOUS missed calls, and if the ref would get buzzed and go look at the monitor for themselves, I think a lot of these issues would be lessened.VAR is truly killing my enjoyment of the sport. Can't celebrate a goal anymore, and apparently contact doesn't matter anymore... one week the hand of the defender is used to draw offside lines, the next it's the armpit... some players can be 20 yards offside...
besides for the flat out AWFUL crowd noise on the BT Sport stream. This Leeds/Everton game is so much fun
Bmav bat signal *initiated*United legend Jesse Lingard with a goal in his debut for the Hammers
Can you imagine him in the side at S####horpe? How did any of us go through life happily without knowing this.
It was bad, but not anywhere near the most ridiculous I've seen. He did swing his elbow and caught the guy in the face. Might not have been deliberate, but he didn't have to swing his elbow either. One of the most ridiculous red cards ever against Soucek for WHU. Unbelievably bad by Dean.
