Jack Doyle needs a thread (1 Viewer)

Since I now own him. :)

62% of snaps last week only to climb with Moncrief out and running more 2 TE sets. Colts seem to love him.

Picked him up last night in a league where I have Gates and Eifert. Hoping for 4-5 points if I'm forced to start him. I'll take that and walk away happy.

From some consulate's office in some Eastern Euro section of the World...

"Sir, it's Jack Doyle and he's calling from the cockpit of a Russian Airbus somewhere over Syria."

-Put him thru!

It's the comedy show in here. Does anyone who's seen him play have any thoughts on how good he is?
2 TD on 4 targets Week 1

5 targets in Week 2, 37 yds.

Allen had 4 targets last week, Moncrief down, WRs 3/4/5 for Indy not very seasoned.

He's been with the team the last 3 seasons, this is his 4th. Erratic and will frustrate folks trying to start him every week. I think Allen will make a larger appearance this week but that's just me.

I'm Jack Doyle, over n out.

MoP, you've been one of my favorite posters for several years. Thanks for the good analysis.

I had him on my free agent list this week in 1 league.  He could be a nice surprise these next several weeks with Moncrief out.  If he fails to impress in that time then back to the wire with him.

of the two TEs--Allen vs. Doyle--who's more likely to stay in and block given their oline woes?

Classic boom/bust player. Not reliable to score points regularly, he will drive you nuts.
He's not reliable now... but the landscape has changed with Moncrief out. They have no large bodies now except Allen and Doyle. This is the week we will see if they incorporate him in 2 TE sets for his receiving abilities.  I think he's a good stash for the potential here, especially in FFPC scoring. Oh, and they "adore" him:

The TE postion in IND looks like it's getting on average 10 targets a game and a lot of the RZ looks. Dwayne Allen is out tomorrow leaving Jack Doyle, who has shown well, to hopefully gobble up most if not all of those looks. Dorset is also out so Luck is lacking some of those targets... anyone going Doyle tomorrow? Projections?

I'm going Doyle over Ertz and Pitta

Grabbed him, after losing Allen, over Pitta. Not expecting much except a couple of RZ look; so, hoping he converts on one at least.

I'm starting Doyle over Pitta. I hope Swoope doesn't swoop in and steal too many looks from Doyle this week.

Edit: Oh, Doyle played on 89% of the snaps with Allen out last week. His previous totals..

I have him on my roster alongside Eiffert. I kind of really have to drop Doyle to pick up a kicker, as I don't want to drop any of my collection of RB lotto tickets, yet I know inside he is going to go off this weekend. Don't know what to do.

He has had three strong weeks out of six--scoring 18, 12, and 15 in my PPR league.  Now with Allen out, he should snag more targets and I think he is easily a top 10 TE.  Luck likes to throw to the TE.

Name names.

I've got him in over a gimpy Bennett; think he'll be limited while Gronk feasts this week.

Where do folks look to check team D against position? I'm curious what the TE success rates have been like against Tennessee.

21st (meaning first allows the most points) vs TE according to my league scoring so not a great matchup for him.

11th in mine--but we have 1 pt ppr so maybe that makes a difference.

Oak and Mia really don't use their TEs. The others show roughly 4-60 give or take.  I think Doyle is good for that plus a RZ look or two. I see his floor around 3-4 points and his ceiling 12 in non-PPR
