Man Allegedly Cons Women Into Buying Him Lamborghini, Corvette, Shelby Mustang

tl;dr:

A Missouri man has been accused of convincing a woman to buy him a Lamborghini and a Corvette as part of an online dating swindle that stretched across several states and encompassed at least three women, according to authorities.

28-year-old Timothy Rossell was arrested on October 13, and has been charged with one count of impersonating a federal officer and four counts of identity theft. According to police, Rossell was engaged in a con in which he would convince women to buy cars for him, drive them for a time, and then secretly sell them while telling the women the vehicles were stolen, KMOV.com reports.

Man Opens Fire on Wife Because She Took a Bite of His Grilled Cheese Sandwich

An armed Maryland man incensed that his wife took a bite out of his grilled cheese sandwich held police at bay for three hours after he fired a gun inside the house, authorities said.

...

Blackwell’s wife told officers who arrived at the house that her husband shot at her through the kitchen floor after he became angry that she bit into his grilled cheese sandwich.

He fired four rounds at her from the basement, where he was surrounded by ammunition and weapons, according to a statement from Baltimore County Police.

In a twist seemingly too outlandish for even a movie plot, a California woman is accused of framing her husband’s ex-fiancee by telling police the woman was harassing her and tried to have her attacked by random men by posting “rape fantasy” ads on Craigslist.

The purported harassment victim, Angela Diaz, 31, is now facing several felony charges, while the formerly accused ex-fiancee, Michelle Hadley, has been exonerated.

Diaz, whose maiden name is Angela Connell, is the husband of Deputy U.S. Marshal Ian Diaz, who was previously engaged to Hadley. She said she was pregnant at the time she made the harassment allegations, according to authorities, but that also may have been a lie.

Benter has few regrets. One relates to an attempt in the early 1990s to create a model for betting on baseball. He spent three summers developing the system and only broke even—for him, a stinging professional defeat. America’s pastime was just too unpredictable.

Im gonna have to tell the fellas in the wagering thread to stop wasting their time

Or maybe it's good news that they should break even over time.

Short, but interesting read...

A Twist to End All Twists in Wife's Murder Case

Philip Snider's story was unusual from the start. In January, the 73-year-old told police a convoluted tale: That he and his 70-year-old wife, who was in poor health, traveled from Hartville, Ohio, to to see Elvis Presley's Graceland in what was to be their last trip. Except, per Snider, Roberta Snider died in a hotel parking lot, he flagged down an ambulance, and he never saw her body again. Fast forward to Monday, when Snider was sentenced to life in prison with the chance for parole in 20 years. He pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated murder, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse. What happened between January and that sentencing is a bizarre tale.

...

But then the twist to end all twists: WKYC reports that Snider was released from the hospital in April and became friendly with a 50-year-old undercover female cop who told him she had come to Hartville to tend to her dying mother—and, ultimately, confided in him that she had thought about killing the woman, who she had a difficult relationship with. He allegedly opened up about ways she could do so and get away with it.

When he finally proposed marriage, she said she needed him to come clean about his first wife—and prosecutors detailed what he allegedly told her, reports WREG: that after fighting with Roberta on Jan. 2, she went to sleep in their living room. He went to Burger King for coffee the next morning and returned home to find Roberta still asleep. He then put a shop cloth on her head and delivered two fatal blows with a 2-pound stake hammer. All the evidence, including her body, went into his truck, and he dumped the items at spots along the way to Memphis.

News5Cleveland reports Snider was being recorded by the undercover cop during their discussion, which took place at a Wendy's, and has these lines: "Can you imagine a hammer this big and this big around? Say I bonked her in the head and her tongue came out." He was arrested April 20.

woman assaults a cop...with her feces

Amanda Rochelle Peters, 26, "intentionally released her bowels in an upward motion and with purposeful direction at this Deputy - causing said bodily waste to land on the face, arms and legs of this Deputy,"

...

Peters was charged with theft of identity of anther without consent, giving officers false identifying information, resisting arrest and third-degree assault of a police officer.
Should've been second degree, IMO. Degree #2 if you will.

Man who posed as a housewife pleads guilty to making secret sex tapes with 150 men

A South Florida man who cross-dressed as a woman and taped himself having sex with at least 80 unsuspecting straight men to produce Internet porn videos pleaded guilty Thursday in Miami federal court.

Bryan Deneumostier, 33, admitted engaging in sex with 150 men — with just over half unaware of his production of the secret videos while just under half aware of it.

Deneumostier, known by the screen name “susanleon33326,” pleaded guilty to two counts of illegal interception of oral communications before U.S. District Judge Cecilia Altonaga and faces up to 10 years in prison at his sentencing on Nov. 29. As part of his plea agreement, three related charges will be dropped by federal prosecutors.

Deneumostier has been held without bond after being charged this summer with luring the men to his Homestead home, making the sex tapes without their knowledge and then uploading them on a porn site that charged a fee.

Deneumostier was arrested in July on charges of making unlawful recordings of commercial sex acts for an adult website. An indictment, filed by prosecutors Cary Aronovitz and Mona Sedky, lists three victims related to his operation of “StraightBoyz.” The site promised gay men videos of real straight men being conned into accepting sex acts, all while blindfolded or wearing blacked-out goggles.

Mob Boss Murder: 'A Couple of Guys Got to Get Killed Now'

So he was likely not run over as previously reported; however, it is possible that he was lured outside by someone running into his SUV. Oh and:

"Anybody who was associated with this murder, whether it was mob related or not, a couple of guys got to get killed now," admitted Gambino hitman John Alite says.

Anthony Arillotta, who did his own killings for the Genovese crime family, echoes that: "It could be a freak thing, wrong place, wrong house, wrong time," but "there's going to be more violence."

Lots going on in this story. Can't wait for the Netflix original movie.

Travis Lee Davis should be in jail, but he's not, thanks to two hard-to-explain escapes by the 30-year-old. Davis, last seen in Oklahoma, remains on the lam, while a man who resembled him was killed in a confrontation with police. And all that doesn't even take into account the supposed kidnapping of a woman who may or may not be Davis' girlfriend.
  • Davis broke out of the Pettis County Jail in Sedalia, Mo., on the night of Saturday, March 9. Authorities say he climbed into the ceiling, made his way across the rafters and down into a "maintenance access closet," then simply walked out of the jail.  :missing:
  • Police arrested him in Oklahoma on Wednesday and placed him in a patrol car, handcuffed. As officers were interviewing someone else, Davis drove away in the police car. "He somehow got the cuffs to the front of him and somehow managed to get through the window in the partition,. He went through the window, stole the car, and went approximately 2 miles and crashed, then fled on foot."  He may have hopped onto a train. :drive:
  • On Wednesday, police in Sallisaw, Okla., received a report of a man who resembled Davis walking by the side of a road. It was 27-year-old Shawn Watie, who was walking to work, reports KFSM. Officers say Watie threatened them with a knife, at which point they fatally shot him. Watie's family disputes that account, saying he wasn't combative. :tinfoilhat:
  • The account of how Davis was arrested in Oklahoma is strange. Police got a call from a woman who says Davis kidnapped her and forced her to drive. She says he was asleep when they stopped for gas at a travel plaza, and she then called police and pointed him out to responding officers. But police now say the woman is a suspect herself. "There were numerous phone calls between he and her when he was in the county jail there (Missouri) and she had been driving him through southern Missouri since his escape and hiding him out," LeFlore County Sheriff Rob Seale tells 4029tv. Both were seen playing slot machines at the travel plaza, and Davis apparently returned to the car to sleep. That's when the woman apparently called police.
  • Police consider Davis dangerous because he was in jail on charges of kidnapping, domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest. Those charges came after a standoff with police during which officers say he threatened to kill his pregnant girlfriend, reports KRCG. It's not clear if this is the same woman who'd been driving him around after his escape.

UPDATE to the update:

so apparently, non-mob related....

Sources say Anthony Comello, arrested Saturday, was upset the mafioso barred him from seeing a woman in Cali's family—maybe his niece, who was home at the time. So the 24-year-old allegedly drove over Wednesday and smashed into Gambino's Escalade. When Cali, 53, came outside, Comello handed him a fallen license plate and shot him about 10 times with a 9-millimeter pistol, authorities tell the New York Times. Cali's home security camera apparently caught the whole thing and Comello's fingerprints are on the license plate. "This went from the perfect crime to amateur hour," says a law-enforcement source.

Two questions-

Did the family of a slain mob boss actually provide home surveillance video to police?

Is the moron who killed him in solitary for his own health?
