I posted some of this stuff in the Trump thread itself but it has some interest so I'll post the stats in their own special thread.

I originally started thinking about capturing stats related to the Trump thread because the number of posts per hour/day/etc were amazing to me - the velocity of that thread far out-paces anything I have ever seen here at FBG.   I asked a while back in a separate thread if the software had the number of posts per user per thread and apparently it does not.  So I wrote a quick script to screen scrape and count the number of posts per user per page and the date the post was made.  Here is some of that data:

I was on an all night bender concluding on 3/15.   The 73 had to happen in less than a half of day.

I stand corrected, that was the week before, nothing to see here.

I wish I had time to delete all posts that are completely useless, and the posts you describe certainly qualify. But it just depends. Sometimes as I read through a thread I delete useless posts as I go, but it takes me a lot longer to get through a thread that way, so I do it only sometimes.
