Actually...some of us do care. It's helpful to see values that were blind spots at first glance. Nice call on Mitchell and Watson! Blair Walsh is a good idea too if you're into kicker values.Iteration 1, for posterity, and because you care.

If you decide not to do it, I'll take a shot at setting something up - I tried to send you a PM but apparently your inbox is full. What is the name of the 3rd party product you used to provide the real-time NFL stats?I don't think I'm going to be able to run the live scoring again this year.

RB is always top heavy. Typically my only players >$20 are RBs and four of my top five highest paid players are RBs.Man, is it just me or is RB really top heavy this year? I know it'll clear up some during camp, but I really don't like any RBs outside of the top 10-15
You aren't talking about the Ben Tate injury a few years back where about 70% of the field (and 249 of the 250 finalists) had Arian Foster?I'm always conflicted...I love this contest with the heat of a thousand suns so more time to play is great... but I always kind of wish it came out a week or two later to let the usual preseason injuries play out so there isnt the cheapish backup that you MUST own.
You can adjust your team up to a certain date after you have submitted your team. Again, I'm not sure the cut off date but how early it opens doesn't really matter. Other than you might find some great values since they have to post prices without knowing all the injuries that happen.I'm always conflicted...I love this contest with the heat of a thousand suns so more time to play is great... but I always kind of wish it came out a week or two later to let the usual preseason injuries play out so there isnt the cheapish backup that you MUST own.
It matters from the angle of how/when the FBG staff assigns player valuations. If they waited a little longer, they could potentially assign more accurate valuations and include/remove players from the pool. You can adjust your team up to a certain date after you have submitted your team. There's always a few, that's a great example. I always remember the $5 K.Benjamin that was on some obscene amount of rosters. You aren't talking about the Ben Tate injury a few years back where about 70% of the field (and 249 of the 250 finalists) had Arian Foster?
I definitely hear you.
Having a big window for people to put in their team seems more important than accuracy for a free to enter contest. It matters from the angle of how/when the FBG staff assigns player valuations. Going without a QB in Week 9 can be hazardous to the health of your team (not to mention no D in week 8).stuckinthemuck said:Posted for everyone's enjoyment. I am sure that this will change multiple times over the next few weeks to clear up bye week redundancy:
QB - Tom Brady - NE/9 - $27
QB - Mike Glennon - CHI/9 - $6
Their post does start off saying it will change due to bye weeks.Going without a QB in Week 9 can be hazardous to the health of your team.
Ignoring the bye weeks issues I still really dislike this team. You have a lot of depth to advance but lack the firepower to be a realistic contender IMO.stuckinthemuck said:Posted for everyone's enjoyment. I don't disagree with this. I was just attempting to clarify the other poster's comments.Having a big window for people to put in their team seems more important than accuracy for a free to enter contest.
If someone thinks its that serious to have the upmost accurate values then they should know if a player has fallen enough to be completely moved off the list.
For the staff that has to assign these values, just before (or as) training camps get started there is basically the lowest number of injuries all year. It's the "safest" time to assume everyone's status (100% healthy). The further into the season that they assign values the more complicated it's going to get due to varying injuries and diagnosises.
