IOW, better get that injunction in the next three hours Mr. Cohen.

Well, opinions differ, so yes, yes you are
You're under the impression your opinion is the one that counts.  Well...

I'll happily rest my laurels on the statement that HRC's scandal at the tail end of the election cost her the presidency.  While you can argue just about anything, that one is is about as supportable as anything in American politics.

So, on the scale of Trump. How does Hillary's e-mail server score?

Irrelevant.  HRC no longer in the game.

Trump's issues will be fully exploited in the next election.  Probably by Biden, if I had to guess.
But you were the one that brought Hillary up...

Carry on, then in your, whatever it is you think you are doing

I don't remember Trump playing himself as electable on a morality stand.  He was and is a pure populist.

No Democrat is elected on a morality basis.
I recall him and his supporters attacking Hillary based on Bill’s past.

That's a very low bar.

That said I was surprised and continue to be surprised at the acceptance he gets from the religious right.  His 3 marriages and philandering were well known.  While every R candidate makes overtures to the religious right his main message was populous economics.  That's what got him into the office.
A low bar...yet his is now loweras he has shown he is not morally superior even to her.

Laughably (in retrospect) he brought Bill Clinton's former accusers of sexual assault to one of the debates, which was about the only attention any of them had received since their 15 minutes of fame ended.

This kind of commentary is over the line, IMO. Not all of Bill Clinton's accusers were seeking their "15 minutes of fame".

No, IMO they all were. Paula Jones, Willey and Broaddrick tried to get all the publicity they could, quite often in the tabloids.

Here is what I find amusing about the entire story - somebody - Cohen, Trump, Trump's campaign - paid Stormy $130K.  Now, if you were inclined to believe Trump, that he has not had sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Daniels, then it is clear that Stormy was blackmailing the president, which is a crime and should be investigated, and that she was successful in her blackmail - which should make you wonder who else might be successful with blackmail...

So, either the Trump campaign was paying for silence about an affair - likely in violation of campaign finance laws - or Trump was being blackmailed.  Neither scenario paints a pretty picture for the president.

Interesting take.

It's condescending and paternalistic to describe sexual harassment accusers as "fame seekers" -- especially when you make a blanket accusation about a group of them.

Bottom line: you don't know their motives.

You're coming off as a hypocrite, especially after the way that you blindly defended all of the women who have accused Trump or any Republicans.

They were attention, um, hogs. It was obvious what their motives were and still are for anyone they can get to listen to them. They all had serious credibility issues which is why there accusations went nowhere as far as charges against Clinton or lawsuits (exception Paula Jones where Clinton perjured himself trying to parse words re Monica Lewinsky.

Up until your post it had not occurred to me that there may be people who don't believe he had some sort of naked dalliance with that Slattern which culminated in him making, as our long lost great and good friend Studs and Duds would say, juice. I know some maintain it rhetorically, but I did not actually consider that some might be so gullible as to believe it.  I don't know why it did not occur to me before this as some folks will believe anything, against all evidence, but it just had not.

Ooof. I expected better from you.

Things get a little Denny Hastert here, don't they? Forgive me for not remembering the details about what Hastert did to the victim, but what I recall is that Hastert pleaded guilty for the financial transactions.

I sort of doubt there is much more than the stuff that was published by InTouch or whatever magazine had the story last month
As hard as Trump is fighting this, though, makes me wonder why. It's not like his base will care or the Republicans care that he cheated on his wife or used hush money to keep her quiet before the election. So why is he fighting so hard to shut her up? What is it she can say that he doesn't want people to know? Sure seems like there's more here than we think given how hard Trump is fighting to keep her quiet.

She either has #### pics or a video.

The other popular theory is he knocked her up and paid for an abortion, but I don't see how that would matter.  He could have an abortion performed on his pregnant mistress on stage mid-campaign rally and he wouldn't lose a single white evangelical Christian vote.

Don't think Trump's base or the anti-abortion Republican party would give two chits about that. Even Richard pics might not faze them. Sex tape? That might do it, though.

But Holy F, nobody wants that.

Nobody.

The reason I think it's pics or a video is because he would personally be embarrassed by that getting out. Nothing to do with his political standing. Literally nothing would faze his supporters.

If Trump blocks Stormy Daniels from appearing on 60 Minutes, he will have imposed more sanctions on a porn actress than on Russia.
Is she a porn actress or a former porn actress?  Not a large point, of course, but one that has me curious.

I am put in mind of the conflict between Dish and jasper in Lonesome Dove over Lorena Woods. Jasper calls her a whore.  Dish takes exception.  After a scuffle Jasper concedes that he doesn't know her current occupation saying he only knows what she did in her younger days.
