Update?

Stop posting and get back on that field dude!

That, unfortunately, was also Favre/Roethlisberger-like.

He was looking for 28. I believe the foul was on White.

Correct. The play was designed for white underneath and he was held.

Im mad that Brady did that because I would have preferred a tie here.

Expect a lot of plays like that.  Defenses are afraid to hit the QB anymore, and have to armtackle or push down, so QBs will be routinely escaping hits to make plays.

Last week’s game featured two or three plays where announcers were praising an immobile QB for “escaping” a defender that ran past him trying to wrap him up from the side.

Not your father’s NFL anymore.

the whole Mahones surge this year is impressive. Always makes you wonder how much success of an NFL QB is on the individual, and how much is on the coaching staff? Like if Mahones gets drafted by 10-13 other teams who were looking for a QB would he be this succesful? and give Reid and his coaches one of the 6-7 QBs who went in the 1st round this year, could he have them performing like this?

Does NE ever called for offensive holding?

To be fair, they rarely hold. They’re one of the best coached teams in the league in that regard. I believe they’ve had 2 penalties all game.

And perfect example why just happened. Pats kick fg and now Kc has to score a td and can’t tie with a fg.

It also meant if the Pats were stopped on that 3rd down a FG would have tied in instead of taking the lead.

I think they probably should have gone for 2 there, but really you only do it if you think that's your last score of the game.  Once the Pats got the ball the odds were actually in favor of the XP being crucial.

Oh yeah I definitely agree.  It's just that I can't recall ever seeing anyone with his overall skillset.  The complete package (more than even Rodgers IMO).

He's amazing but rodgers has just as much skills

Collinsworth is drunk

He was off balance and couldn't hold onto Brady. Watch the defender's feet, he just was too far past him to hold on.

Reverse angle you can pretty clearly tell he let go intentionally.

With 4 mins left? No.

But does anyone really think the Patriots will suddenly go conservative?  Does anyone really think the Chiefs D can suddenly force a punt?

Collinsworth is a closet patriots hater. He's more upset that KC didn't make the tackle on Brady.
