[Dynasty] 2020 NFL Draft Class (1 Viewer)

NFL Media's Lance Zierlein writes that Colorado QB Steven Montez "failed to take steps forward as a three-year starter."

"Teams may see [Montez] as a developmental prospect based upon physical traits," Zierlein notes, "but his interceptions were mostly easy takeaways and that doesn't figure to improve against faster talent on the backend." The analyst additionally has issues with Montez's slower rate working through progressions. The 6-foot-4, 231-pound Montez isn't completely cooked for the draft, but if he won't be coming off the board until Day 3 if he does ended up squeaking in.

NFL Media's Lance Zierlein compared LSU TE Thaddeus Moss to free agent TE MyCole Pruitt.

While Zierlein isn't a fan of Moss' athletic bonafides, the analyst digs his ability as a run-blocker, writing that the 6-foot-2, 250-pounder "us[es] above-average technique and [possesses] an impressive ability to strain and sustain against bigger opponents." As a run-blocker, Moss drew a grade of 69.2 from PFF in 2019, with the outlet comping him to Kaden Smith. As a pass-catcher, Moss' best attribute comes in his vice grip hands -- he did not drop a pass during the 2019 season. Moss did not test at the combine due to a reported Jones fracture in his right foot which required surgery. The expectation is that he will be healthy for preseason camp (assuming preseason camps occur this summer).

Yeah but it freed up a spot with LAR. Henderson didn't exactly nail down the starting role. MB is solid backup but no star.
How could Henderson nail down a starting spot with so few carries?  I thought he looked good on the carries he had.

NFL Media's Lance Zierlein compared Ohio State CB Jeffrey Okudah to Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson.

Well, that's some pretty high praise, and the plaudits don't end there. "Head coach and general manager's dream prospect with blue-chip physical traits, mental makeup and personal character," Zierlein writes. The analyst also notes that the 6-foot-1, 205-pound corner has "size, length and foot quickness to road-block press release and elite closing burst." Zierlein does list some weaknesses, noting that he can be better in anticipating routes, and that he needs to do a better job of disengaging from blocks. "He has a rigid adherence to technique," Zierlein writes in his overview, "but squeezing coverage even tighter and trusting his traits, talent and recovery speed could make him one of the top shutdown corners in the game."

Yeah, but who had a chance to see a lot more of Henderson than we did?  The same coach that gave Malcolm Brown more carries.

I am not saying Henderson can't still win the job. Only that he hasn't nailed it down.  He can still do it for sure.  But IMO the position is up for grabs.
