I don’t want to hear any of the board liberals talk about our poor health care system or global warming now that you’ve every candidate that was going to adore these issues

Biden voters aren’t voting on the issues at all. Just the vague notion that he can ‘beat Trump’ (he won’t).  His record is trash.

I have little concern about bidens gaffes against trump.  So many people are just looking to restore some decency in the white house.   Trump is such a horrible human being.

Decency- as in bombing the everliving #### out of brown people.

Fortunately, they have a slightly better chance at winning than Sanders supporters because they at least actually vote.

LOL at playing the decency card. Trump made all that stuff irrelevant.

Quit acting like the decrepit swamp being Joe Biden that blew up civilizations and locked up millions of black people is “decent.”  The handsy creep that talks down to women and people who raise basic criticisms about his abhorrent record.  Good god, what a joke.

I gotta say, the amount of anti-Dems complaining about Biden getting the nomination, is probably a good sign that the Dems picked the right candidate.

Biden carries certain risks - but many of his risks are already known to Dems - and they still supported him.  Age, Iraq War, Crime Bill, walking gaffe machine.  I am not sure what the GOP are going to bring up - public is already tired of Burisma.

I’d imagine a lot of voters aren’t all that knowledgeable about his past.  Most people probably just tie him emotionally to Obama.  The irony is that Biden wasn’t picked to round out blacks or progressives, he was picked to win over white boomers and solidify Obama’s ties with the establishment.

Joe Biden is not Barack Obama.  I don’t understand why Democrats insist on walking into the same buzzsaw again.  Running a DC insider centrist against Trump (with the added risk of mental decline).  Even if he won, he would just continue Trump’s agenda, with faintly liberal window dressing.  It’s complete insanity.

Maybe - Biden was never in my top choices, but I am oddly calm/confident in his candidacy.

My guess is that Biden will run a hybrid Obama/2018 mid-term strategy.  Biden carries a lot of goodwill among black voters simply because Obama trusted him.  I think Biden will have a strong surrogate campaign - with Obama reaching out and shoring up black support, Pete reaching out to the white college-educated crowd.  I think Klobuchar will help reach out to suburban women who helped carry the 2018 elections.  Biden himself is the figurehead (and he will get a lot of support from Unions). I think you will see a lot of national Dems farm out to areas of their strengths and build a broad coalition for November.

Biden picks Michelle Obama as VP.

That locks up 2020.

Michelle runs in 2024/28.

GOP meltdown. Watch.

If she wanted in she could’ve jumped in earlier and ran away with the nomination. Pipe dream , he life is too good right now . The Obama’s are smart enough to know what a dumpster fire Biden is , not going to ruin her rep going down with the ship run by sleepy Joe

Yeah no way she does that. Her husband hasn’t even endorsed Biden yet. If she was truly bored, she could just run herself.

I dunno. I'm hearing there is a heavy push to recruit her to help save the Obama legacy. Four more years of Trump dismantling everything they worked for could convince her to put a stop to it.

Big picture, Joe (and the Dems) will support the Dreamers, be somewhat more compassionate regarding the border situation, acknowledge and begin to address climate change, and (hopefully) make advances on gun control.  I'm happy with that.

What a dream.   Seems like the perfect way for Obama to get her feet wet.   Makes her the defacto dem nominee in 2020 and essentially an incumbent with all the advantages that come with that.

Joe Biden and Barack Obama built their prison cages.  They deported 2 million people.  The real Joe Biden wanted to crack down on business owners for “hiring illegals.”  When immigration activists push him on his legacy, they get booed out of the room and Biden lies about his record.

Fracking and oil production exploded under Obama/Biden.  He’s not going to do anything about environmental issues, or cut back the warfare state which makes the Pentagon one of the worst polluters on the planet, he just wants power.

just about everyone in America except for the Trump base- so I’m talking around 65% of us.

We all must show up and vote. Let's go!!!!

She is loving life after the White House. It will not happen. But a great thought. I loved her as First lady. She was exemplary.

I don't think Burisma hurts him at this point.   There's so much distrust in Trump and the DOJ.   Any investigation that will surely be launched between now and the election will be seen by moderates as a smear campaign.

Ukraine has launched its own investigation.

Joe now promising cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes. I guess he didn’t think they were very serious when he was vice president?

Just baseless promises.

I'm sorry you don't want cancer, Alzheimer's, and diabetes to get research funding.

Joe is now at the same cognitive level that my grandfather was while living in the nursing home. Just sad

Kind of messed up that you put your grandfather in a nursing home when he could still be winning the nomination for President.

If Joe said "I will fund research for Cancer, Alzheimers, and Diabetes," I wouldn't bat an eye at it.

He promised cures.  Not research.  Cures.

Yeah.  And I'm pointing out that the promises are baseless.  And if he can give me a cure, why the hell didn't he do it while he was VP?

Just empty promises by a demented old man.
