Btw, when your defensive strategy is to throw bodies at a player and be as physical as possible, in what you believe is the only way to stop said player, fouls are going to be called.

HTH

You willing to say that on the record?

This was the specific play I was complaining about.

its not why the Celts lost, but calls like this make the game tough to watch sometimes

there have been bad calls in all series. Boston lost cause they let Mil shoot 50% from the field and only had like 6 assists in the 2nd half. The "hero ball" on that team is way out of control. No idea why Stevens doesn't try and coach Tatum down, dude has regressed this year and he takes horrible contested shots when they are down instead of passing to open guys

it is amazing what the Kobe effect had on him.

if it's 50/50 i will be putting a boat load on teh Sixers to off-set my Toronto to win the East odds. best thing about these wins is they aren't flukey. Defense has been most impressive at any point this year

It's pretty much as 50/50 as it gets on this series winner now.  Very slight vegas odds in favour of Philly.  But Raptors in 7 gives the lowest betting multiple of any possible series outcome.

Philly is -135 to win the series (Toronto is +110). With Siakim out tomorrow, i sense a bit of a trap, but laid the cash down anyway

Stupid F'n Celtics are +420 to win the series. I took them yesterday at +170

ETA: Sixers are +300 to win the East which i just put some on too. If they get by Toronto and the Bucks get through that will be one of the most fun series in a long time. I think the Sixers have a chance in that one if they keep playing like they did in these games

Those aren't very good odds you got.  I'm seeing the prices at Philly -115 and Toronto -105.  Pretty dead even.

Pretty comfortable that whoever wins tomorrow's Raptors/Sixers game is going to take the series.  If Toronto comes out on fire and wins that game, I can't see them losing 2 of the next 3, especially with 2 at home.   If Philly goes up 3-1, that's it.  Seems like Toronto in 7 or Philly in 6 is the way this is gonna go, and tomorrow decides it.

if they win without Siakim i will be pretty worried too. Gasol looks slow out there, and i don't know what Kyrie can do to make a significant impact. Danny Green makes me a little nervous with his 3's, but outside of that, i don't know what they can bring that will win it for them. Kawhi will get his 50 or so, but i don't know where the rest of the points will come from

Siakam doubtful for game 4... right leg contusion.  Same leg he tripped Embiid.  Nice one, kid

Somehow missed your post on this but just saw it on twitter.  Wow, if this isn't karma, I don't know what is.

What is Portland/Denver line to win series right now?

I haven't watched a lot of Warriors games this year but is Bell hurt? If not, who is Jerebko and why is he playing over Bell?

Bell has supposedly been a pain in the ### off the court, I believe.  He also is kind of lost on defense, iirc

Only a denver homer thinks thats ok. Or a 1989 piston.

ETA: just noticed that kanter is who tweeted that. Thats pretty lame too.

Only a blazer homer or a ##### think that's a cheap shot.

Thanks.  Defense is his specialty so that is weird.

i think he was not doing a great job within the team defense concept, though.

or maybe it was more about effort.  but i could certainly be misremembering this.

Didnt he rack up porn pay per view charges on a coach's hotel room bill?

he definitely charged something to mike brown's hotel room.  i don't know if that part was confirmed.  And that was probably not the first time for those type of shenanigans, supposedly.

After being crucial against the Rockets in last year's playoffs, instead of taking a step forward in his sophomore season Bell has regressed. Combine that with not taking practice seriously, failing to get back on defense and charging room service to assistant coaches (ha ha ha!), Bell hasn't seen competitive minutes in months. He was one of my favorite players last year and as much as I don't want it to be true, it appears that he suffers from a serious case of boneheaditits.

He's a free agent after this year so it's really a head-scratcher, unless he's angling to play somewhere else ala Pat McCaw (whose reasoning is still an Unsolved Mystery). The Warriors will probably re-sign him as they have a serious dearth of cheap, young talent, but another year of shenanigans will find him out of the league if he's not careful.

I remember watching Bell eat Bagley alive in summer league last year, and thinking Bell was really going to break out this season. Also was panicked about Bagley. Turns out summer league doesn’t 100% correlate with performance when the games matter, I guess.

No dog in the fight. I didn't even watch the game. But I honestly don't know how anyone can view that replay as anything other than a blatant cheap shot. The fact you are so adamant about it actually pretty shocking to me. No idea how you can justify that?
