I'm watching Get Up!, and they just reported that John Beilein has agreed to leave the University of Michigan and become the new coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now, let's take a deeper look at this situation. Unless you're Brad Stevens or Rick Pitino, when a coach jumps from college to the NBA, they usually don't have that much success. And John Beilein made Michigan the powerhouse of the Big 10, with the exception of MIchigan State. And another thing to consider is that he's 66 years old. So why would he jump to the pros at this stage of his coaching career?
