So weird no one wastes time on the smug arrogant posts from the guy that stormed of in a tantrum never to return.....until he had to because there isn’t an audience for his behavior anywhere else but here. 😂

Did he leave for awhile?  I hadn't noticed him until lately and he really thinks highly of himself.  He is approaching Henry Ford level of condescending, who thank goodness has been absent for awhile.

Media resentment is a big priority for Trump supporters, so I'm not surprised the source and the very idea of polling is the issue here.

But it should maybe at least make someone think, 'golly is constantly repeating that only the elderly are at serious, great risk really a good political strategy?' Especially considering that older voters are a typically solid GOP bloc. I mean pfft, who knows, Trump won WiMiPa by 88K votes after all last time so that's always the answer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe European nations have also closed their borders.  If its good enough for them its good enough for me.  Is there outrage on the left because of this?

I have to say that while Henry did come off condescending at times I miss his posts. Of course I don't interact with folks a whole lot here mostly just read so never had him piss me off in a discussion. Personally I like reading other people's opinions on issues. Especially those that are more knowledgable than me on the subject being discussed. I do have a good BS meter so I can usually tell when it is getting a little deep. Besides he gave me the phrase slow adapter to technology which I am and use it to describe myself all the time.

I have no idea. I'm not concerned with whatever Finland is doing so don't follow their policies. I imagine they have all types of different issues, systems that they deal with.

Why is there a ban on immigration introduced now when he is encouraging travel and businesses to open up and states to liberate themselves? This makes no sense.

Why announce this on Twitter? It's his typical divide, distract people bull#### agenda.

Not to mention the month I got from the Moderator for calling one of the many posters there that troll a troll in this thread.  Despite a few weeks earlier Maurile posting in this thread that we should self moderate in this thread. Yet, posters in other threads call Anti-Trump people trolls but no suspensions. And Clayton...this isn't whining. Just pointing out facts. Have a great day and stay safe.

I would think you could speak freely here, it's the one thread we were asked by staff to self police and the other threads to discuss it were locked.

I do too.  100% all the time.  Regardless of what they say.  Polls are a waste of everyone's time.  So if that was some sort of gotcha attempt, all you did was further validate my point.  Cause I am willing to bet good $$ that Sinn Fein would say that poll Trump referenced was BS.  Because, polls are BS.

I'd disagree with this.

Polls aren't going to be 100% accurate of course in part because people lie as you pointed out but I think some polling sites take these factors in account because bottom line they are trying to look like they can predict things and want to sell this data. Pretty much like setting lines in a casino. 

The 2016 final polling for the general election popular vote was really close, off by like 1%. That's pretty amazing if you think about it.

I was talking about polling and the science of doing it. It's amazing to me that from thin air people can get within a point or two of predicting a national election. That's all.

You can pick any national election you like. 2004 Bush defeated Kerry. The national poll averages were just over 1% off.
