TRUMP TO INFINITY AND BEYOND HQ - The Great and Positive Place (8 Viewers)

WI and GA both have strict voter ID laws
On the 27th I got hammered and for the first time in a long time puked my guts out.  I puked so hard I ruptured blood vessels in both eyes - I had blood in the whites of my eyes and in the bag under one eye.  I went to vote 3 days later with a mask on, two bloody eyes and a partial black eye.  The lady took my license, looked at me, looked at my license and then looked at me again and smiled.  I just nodded.   :lmao:   :lmao:

Trump’s Twitter feed has always been a trainwreck, but even I can’t believe what he’s devolved too. If you cropped out the name I would say it was from a legit crazy person.

One glance this morning has COVID conspiracy on the US numbers, “CHINA virus”, this person and that person “is a disgrace”. And of course lots and lots of we “easiLy wOn bY a laNdSlidE”. This is the President of the United States right now?  Go back to 2016 and plop this into the general news and people would be shocked.  We’ve gotten slowly used to it, but this dude is unwell.

We sure did move awfully fast from “Russia rigged the election” to “elections can’t be rigged”  didn’t we? :lmao:

That said I don’t think I’ve posted anything making claims you are linking if so please link for me I don’t recall.
I don’t know what you have posted. You say you don’t believe any of these things I believe you.

The outgoing president has spent a month and a half ranting about all these things. Barely a peep from him about anything else in comparison.

Sounds like we agree that is not good.

I feel very comfortable with the results given the clarity and accuracy shown by the many recounts that were requested. I'm also comforted by the Department of Homeland Security's Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council, stating that "there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised" and also that this election ""was the most secure in American history."

I mean, shouldn't we be proud of that? Why do we need a special commission? Seems like some want to fuel the notion that our processes and overall security suck. I'm all for looking for continuous improvements but that isn't what is happening here. What's happening here is pathetic.

“I just want to find 11780 votes” -DJT

He always says the stuff out loud that he’s not supposed to  :lmao:

Would love to hear this explained by some MAGA friends.

Sarcasm?  Joking?

Just throw it on the pile of things he has done and said that would have gotten previous Presidents removed from office.
Unfortunately it's not sarcasm or joking.  We know enough about this guy to know he's dead serious (and pathetic as others have already stated).

@GoBirds, @BladeRunner, @knowledge dropper: Any thoughts about this phone call by Trump to the Georgia Governor? Am interested in hearing your objective opinion without reference to whataboutisms or deflecting with bad behavior from the left. Is this a bridge too far for you? Do you think this action is consistent with the spirit of a President’s oath to uphold the Constitution?

Yeah, I'm not really on board with that.  While I think a simple phone call to ask if everything is legit is fine, pressuring him to "find" votes and only enough for him to win is not cool.  If he was really interested in fraud, then he would not have specified a SPECIFIC number of votes.  Clearly he's desperate.

Thanks. Appreciate the response.

There needs to be repercussions for the president doing this IMO. I don’t know about impeaching him but I appreciate you acknowledging this.
Repercussions to try and influence people even if those SAME people don't change anything?

I agree, it's poor form and he shouldn't do it, but unless someone deliberately changes something based on his pressure alone and sans actionable, certifiable and believable evidence then I don't know if there is a crime there anyways.

This is beyond poor form. This is deliberately going down a path of fraud to see where it leads.
If the Republicans really wanted to heal and move forward - they would support an indictment - in Georgia - for state election and fraud claims.  Deal with Trump as they would any other citizen, and then the country puts this era in the past, heals and moves forward...

Yes there should be some repercussions.

This is the stuff this guy says on a call. The things he conspires to do that aren’t recorded must be astonishing.

This is why there is so much outrage, hatred of this person.

Seems like that's all just a guess.  I bet if we listened on every phone call from any of our politicians we could probably get them all impeached.

But we don't and that's why we need verifiable evidence.  Doing things because you hate the guy is not enough.  Not any better than mob justice, IMO.

Because then repercussions are not just for Trump...there to ensure others don't try it in the future.

I’ve only read the headline, if true I don’t agree with it.

I don’t get hung up in every Trump headline, hopefully you guys can get there at some point as well. It totally consumes some and not very healthy.

Because their are plenty of people out there that can't process information objectively, him "spouting off" for 17 more days is dangerous.
Freedom of speech for me, but not for thee?  Is that what you're getting at?

All kinds of speech is dangerous.  I consider the Socialist talk coming from Bernie, Warren and "The Squad" extremely dangerous.  Should we silence/punish that too?

Let me know if your a 1A guy or not!

Thank you for the response. It appears that this is actually a pretty significant event, not just another Trump headline.

Totally. If the same level of scrutiny carried forward you know it would be the case with DC’s “finest”.....but you also know the MSM has their agenda.

Oh come on...yeah its the MSM and their agenda not that Trump has kept doing and saying despicable things... :sarcasm:

No. Many of us have been saying for several years now that this man is unique, he is ESPECIALLY rotten. It’s time you acknowledged this.
They're all rotten, Tim.

I don't find "my guy is less corrupt/rotten than your guy" to be a compelling argument as a defense.  Rotten is rotten.

Also, I've acknowledged that Trump is awful, but he was better than the alternative, IMO.  I still believe that.

You really should read a little. In this instance it’s his own words. It’s like a 4 minute recording.

Yes that is a guess. He does continuously say things aloud that should be political career enders so probably a good one though.

There are many, many more “close sources” stories that aren’t recordings but are people in the room type things as well.

You are posting in a political subboard on a magic football site  :lmao:

I love the I don’t pay close attention schtick though.
It’s football Sunday man get some air from it.....you are in here the minute something breaks hounding people.  :lmao:

Ive already said I don’t agree with it if true but as you know this forum slants everything hard Left so you can’t rely on posts here from those posters you have to take in multiple news sources and then make a call. Sad but true these days.

The process does lend itself to grossness, they are not all rotten though. Many are just trying to do work keeping our government running.

You don’t need to obsess about my weekend. Thanks.

This is where I think it would be useful to take a moment to read the story and listen to the recordings before commenting.

I agree with you 1000%. A lot about Trump irks me but especially after the behavior of those that represent the other option over the last 4 years I can never see myself voting D in this lifetime. The other option I’m my opinion is just awful.
