Tim bout to come in here and kill the joke like: “that’s because the award was named after him”
so good he gets mi twice
Election night 2020 is going to be such a great time on here I can imagine.
Yep, just like 2016 all over again
None of these posts are about impeachment. Let’s stay focused today, fellas.I don’t think so. I don’t believe there will be a lot of surprises this time.
My recollection is that he was backing another candidate in the primary, but then got behind trump in the general. If I have this right, then expect them to paint him as an opportunistI guess they will try to assassinate Sondland’s character. Not sure how though. He’s not a Trump hater. He gave the guy a million dollars.
This is John Dean only worse. How huge was that Roger Stone conviction? I think it must have scared the hell out of him.
The Republicans asked for three witness from the administration, they got all three of them. Two testified yesterday and their testimony was against the president. Hale still to go, plus Trump's own campaign mega-contributor and Ambassador goes today.Rep. Jordan: "The facts are on the President's side. The process certainly is not."
that’s funnyThis will be the John Dean moment. There's no way Trump can recover from this, can he?
"At the express direction of the President of the United States."
amazing."At the express direction of the President of the United States."
What is so frightening is the reality that in many ways, we have to vote yes or no to Democracy every day, certainly every election. You can vote to keep democracy a thousand times in a row, but once the ballot is cast to overthrown Democracy for the very authoritarian rule that we see pushed by Trump, Barr, and others, there are no longer opportunities to vote democracy back in.I have to disagree with this perspective. I don't think they're a cult. I think they're following principles which have been developing for some time but which have only been recently exposed for all to see (and the left still hasn't fully recognized them).
It all makes sense if you think about how the American right has seen leftism/socialism as the nation's enemy for 75 years and the enemy is now a growing force in US politics and culture. Stopping it is the priority and all the traditional democratic principles have to be subordinated to this cause.
Giuliani is Cohen all over again, with a dash of Manafort with his oily clientele and partners in the background.Wow. Sondland’s opening statement released: he’s going to tell all- says Trump told him to do it.
When I see these weak, false descriptives tossed out, it really undercuts the credibility of whomever is saying it.So... Does Nunes still say "hoax" "witch hunt" a dozen times each now?
I still think he has a "Chem Trails" or "Flatearth" coming.
I thought the same. I doubt it, but a way out if needed. Walking away for health reasons. Don't think his ego would let him do that though.a brohan buddy of mine says that the recent doctor visit will become a basis for resignation after today i dont believe that but that is his theory take that to the bank bromigos
The writers have been a bit over the top at times, but this was very well conceived.I guess they will try to assassinate Sondland’s character. Not sure how though. He’s not a Trump hater. He gave the guy a million dollars.
This is John Dean only worse. How huge was that Roger Stone conviction? I think it must have scared the hell out of him.
That would explain the nervousness.Wow. Sondland’s opening statement released: he’s going to tell all- says Trump told him to do it.
Also not citing who is saying any of the things he is saying right now that he is attributing to Democrats.Nunes calling out the Dems on their conspiracy theories is rich.
oh look at mr a plus in civics over here take that to the bank bromigosIt’s Mike Pence!!!Schiff just named the Vice President.
Listening on the radio, 75% of the things Nunes mentioned were true. Whose side are you on?Also not citing who is saying any of the things he is saying right now that he is attributing to Democrats.
Jordan's head might explode.reading the opening statement, sondland explicitly calls it quid pro quo WRT white house visit in exchange for public announcements of investigations. He says he assumed the military aide followed suit and made that clear to the Ukranians but he didn't hear that directly from the president.
If there's any wiggle room, its that - there was QPQ for a whitehouse visit but not military aide. Of course, that begs the question: why was the aide held up?
*Gong* Bah Gawd! That's the Undertaker's music!/jimrossSondland says yes there was a quid pro quo. And Trump ordered me to do it.
"He was the first of many in Congress to sue a fake cow on Twitter"Will be interesting to see how history looks back upon Devin Nunes.
