Dead money is most certainly those who cannot score for you because they are out for the year.

For example, Dak Prescott put up some great numbers for a lot of teams and certainly contributed to weekly scores, but he is now dead money.  Tevin Coleman has not likely contributed to any scores yet, but he is not(yet) dead money.

LOL, I am going to continue to call dead money anyone on your roster you completely wasted money on. That means anyone who has never counted for your score in any week. You folks do you.

Of the teams still alive...

Most spent on QB - $120 (Mahomes, Ryan, Brady, Stafford, Rodgers, Mayfield, Newton, Roethlisberger) - also the only team left with 8 or more QB's
Least spent on QB - $14 (Carr, Darnold) - has only used Carr thus far, and will be without a QB week 6

Most spent on RB - $144 (Kamara, Mixon, Chubb, Mostert, Hunt, Armstead, Harris, C Thompson) - barely squeaked by week 5
Least spent on RB - $36 (Ekeler, Moss) - still managed to score 160 with no RB's week 5; one of only 17 left with only 2 RB's

Most spent on WR - $163 (Thielen, Kupp, Metcalf, Parker, Gallup, Crowder, Slayton, Kirk, Miller, Tate, A Brown, Cobb) - 12 WR's on an 18-player roster, WOW!
Least spent on WR - $28 (Sims, Lazard, Shenault, Valdes-Scantling, Bourne, Edwards) - averaging 17 from his WR1 and 12 from his WR2

Most spent on TE - $79 (2 teams - Kelce, Kittle, Andrews and Kelce, Kittle, Waller, Graham) - neither team has had to sweat so far
Least spent on TE - $4 (McDonald) - has gotten by with little to no TE scoring

Not going to bore you with kickers and defense, but this is the only team I could find that spent $20+ on each

Love that the guy made the cut  last week just because his $2 NYG defense scored 12 points. Awesome.

Top 5 most common QB's right now are (owners left & survival percentage):

QB - Prescott (1008 - 70.05%), Roethlisberger (956 - 40.22%), Wilson (709 - 58.60%), Brady (680 - 56.95%), Minshew (645 - 44.61%)

The loss of Dak is gonna be brutal for many rosters.

1000 teams get cut week 6.

1000 Dak owners

That is all...

currently just under, but have some big guns still to go.

the big ben 14 point game wasnt helpful thats for sure

5 points to the bad with Lamb & Moss (both -6.2 and 6.7) and the Arizona D (-2). Going to need a huge night from Lamb, and maybe a defensive TD or 2.  Absolute nightmare of a week--getting 2.8 points from Jonnu and Gesicki on Waller's bye week, Green Bay's total dud killing both Jones & MVS scoring, the Steelers crushing Hunt, and both FitzMagic and Ridley doing nothing in the 2nd half of their games. Ugh!

About 21 below the current cut line, but have some good pieces to go still.  T Hill, Moss, C Kirk, k Murray, Butker can all add to my total

Not a great week for me, but Justin Jefferson should get me through.  Worried about next week though.  Due to bye week switching, I lose Lamar and Hollywood along with Thielen and Jefferson.  With Ekeler on IR, that likely spells the end for me.

Sweating a bit this week. Two points above the cut, but have Kyler Murray (-20.85), plus CEH and Lamb (at around -8 for both).

Swing low sweet chariot - coming for to carry me home...

96.1 + Z Moss won't get it done despite Rivers stepping up with 35.5 when I needed him.

9 dnp with byes and Chubb / Goedert inj made this my toughest week and didnt have much chance unless it was an unusually low scoring week.

Good luck to those remaining. I still think taking your shot early in wk6 was a good risk/reward way to go but some LAC covid bye changes didn't help.

Sitting at 142 with CEH, Moss, Fitz, and ARI D left.  Taking a goose egg at TE this week though (Gesicki, Goedert, Herndon, Akins), but Goedert should be back soon.

I’m 15 below the cutline but I get all of Kyler Murray’s points, plus I have CEH  -9.8.  Hope it’s enough.  If I go out it’s due to the goose egg I took at TE (Fant, Herndon, Gesicki, Howard)

Good luck to my fellow board mates!

Great week to see Moss back in the mix.  He is running with purpose early. Hoping it translates to a good score.

need some contributions between Moss, CEH and Lamb.

Ghost entry would be at 122.85 + (Murray - 25.95) - really coulda used this cut last week!

I do plan to put together a breakdown of my breakdown at some point.

Good luck to those sweating the game tonight :)

Awesome of you to track this Winz!  What is the survival % of these entries vs chalk?

Survived with 130.55 points. 10 of 23 players with a goose egg. 24.55 bench points, 7 if you exclude Stafford. Week six was the hump for bye weeks. Stafford, Bryan Edwards and Devin Asiasi are the only players that haven't scored for me.

Welcome to the starting lineup Preston Williams and Irv Smith!  Good to see some small ray of sunshine from the TE group.

still just $12 dead money, but Moss and his $10 tag might belong here too. has been a complete dud so far.  Your brothers have been carrying you kid. Bout time to show em you belong.

6 players haven’t counted

10 provided a single boom week

5 showed out twice (includes my FF mancrush Mapletron)

6 lit up the scoreboard three times

3 stars nailed it 4 times.   McKinnon saved me in this contest week 4, so I’m glad he took a week off to recoup.  Lamb and Sanders are the root.
Calcomatic bonus money team continues to produce after a dicey start. Mostly due to early byes. Only have 15 of 28 byes remaining from active members. Not counting irrelevant byes from Jarwin or Seibert.

$30 an 6 rooster spots invested with zero scores counting thus far. $18 of that is dead. RIP Jarwin and Seibert. Optimistic at least 3 more will count if we continue to elude the Turk.

Just 1 man counted 5 times.  Give it up for ROY contender CeeDee Lamb!

4 Hits from 6 players.  Props to Manny Sanders, CEH and Connor for strong contributions

3 scores count by 3 players

2 scores from 8 different selections. Critical for a large roster to succeed having these scores from the bench.

1 score each from the other 6 folks.  Surprised to see my highest $ QB Ben and WR  Marvin Jones in this category.

After last week's scare (overturned to survival by 0.05 in the official scoring), this week my squad had its most comfortable survival since wk2 behind Henry & Rivers.

My trio of cheap QBs have been taking turns putting up big games, led by Carr LV.

26 different players have cracked my lineup through 6 weeks - all but WR Michael Thomas ($33), WR Bryan Edwards ($3), PK Sam Sloman ($2), and DST Atlanta Falcons ($2). On the bright side, I'm one of only 62 surviving Michael Thomas teams (5.4%), so he could be a difference-maker for me if he comes back and plays like last year.

Yeah, perfect storm weekend for me. Didn't think it would be that hard to survive my Raider connection byes (Carr, Jacobs, Waller). Didn't plan on Gesicki and Jonnu going into the toilet or for Rogers and the Packers wrecking Jones' value.  Steelers hammered the Browns so badly that Hunt couldn't get any points and Ben didn't have to throw at all.  Then the Falcons and Dolphins get big enough leads that Ridley and Fitzmagic get to virtually take the 2nd half off. Sure enough, the last minute swap of Claypool for Thompson was the difference between surviving and going home.

Good luck to those remaining.

Lowest score of the season but I snuck past the cut line by 14.

The league moving games meant that both D.Waller and H.Henry were on bye the same week so that didn't help. PIT defense scoring 14(highest they have scored all season certainly helped.

As did Rivers 35.45. In 6 weeks I have used 4 different QB's with an average of 32+ pts/wk. Looks like Fitz going to the bench puts me down to 3 QB but Fitz has already counted for me twice this season and there is still a chance he gets back into the lineup at some point. His $4 was pretty well spent in my book, there are 5 other guys that cost $4 and have never made it into my lineup at all. Still pretty happy with the 4QB/$35 strategy so far but if I'm being honest I was really hoping Fitz would hold onto the job until week #9. Kind of thought MIA would make the first Tua start at the Jets in week #12 followed by a home vs CIN in week #13. I understand the bye week thing but Fitz has won 3 of the last 4 and MIA is only a game out of 1st place plus the team easily has the best point differential in the division.

Week 7 kicks off with the Eagles hosting the Giants.  Cutting down from 2200 to 1500.

QB - Jones (95), Wentz (30), Hurts (21)
All 3 have a lower than average survival rate, with Hurts comically leading the way at 18.75%

RB - Scott (108), Sanders (61), Barkley (58), Lewis (12), Freeman (8)
All 5 have a lower than average survival rate; send best wishes to @ConstruxBoy because he is going into battle without Barkley & Sanders

WR - Jackson (229), Shepard (113), Slayton (76), Arcega-Whiteside (61), Jeffery (57), Reagor (54), Tate (39)
All 7 have a lower than average survival rate; stuff like this happens when the 2nd best guy ranks as WR85

TE - Goedert (121), Ertz (102), Engram (68), Smith (11)
All 4 have a lower than average survival rate

K - Elliott (112)
Yup, he's below average too, and Gano isn't even part of the contest

D - PHI (76), NYG (70)
Sticking to the theme, both D's are below average as well

22 contest options above, and all below the average survival rate.  Cut line is guaranteed to remain at zero after the game, because ownership numbers for active players will be well below 1500.

What is it with Penn State running backs and knees?

Oh. Wait.
