I actually think Hot Rod might be a good sleeper pick at kicker. Has a big leg, has experience w/ big games (BCS). Plays home games in a dome, Other conf teams are warm weather, plays JAX twice. Also Colts have a decent defense and good run game. P.Rivers does like to dink and dunk, so if he can cut down on the turnovers, Hot Rod might just get the opportunities.
early schedule sets up nice:
wk 1-8: @Jax, vs Min, vs NYJ, @Chi, @Clev, vs Cin, [BYE], @Det <--almost all of these seem like usable games
wks 9-12: vs BAL, @TEN, vs GB, vsTEN.........................................May want to pivot away from this stretch
wks 13-16: @HOU, @LV, vs HOU, @Pitt.........................................all are usable except maybe wk 16 @Pitt (especially w tough def & swirling winds)
Wonder where he will slot into the K rankings........but he's definitely a consideration at draft time (especially for that @JAX first game)
