Monday Night Football - Chiefs v Ravens - Pre-Game Chatter and Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Dunno what the Ravens saw that made them think there was an opportunity to throw the ball to the line of scrimmage, but its not working.

Penalties killing the Ravens and forcing them out of their comfort zone. The offense can't stagnate facing this KC team that can explode outta nowhere.

3rd and 20 KC playing two deep zone, no one open.

Remember when the Ravens were running the ball down KC’s throat and then they started throwing every down

Roman in postseason form already

Chiefs would adjust though. They were already adjusting when the field got shorter on that 1st drive.

Ravens D is wayyy too aggressive, they can't keep playing man and flowing to the nearest motion. Chiefs just keep going misdirection.

EDIT: Calais Campbell might've saved a TD on that screen pass tip.

Gotta say the Ravens O Coordinator choked in the playoffs and he and the D Coordinator are choking tonight

Seems like they get too hyped for these big games and get away from what their team does best

Honestly not trying to disagree with you too much today, but if Lamar Jackson is that guy that everyone says he is, the Ravens should be able to win this game on the strength of his arm on offense, wouldn't you agree?  I am not saying abandon the run and pass, pass, pass, but it seems like a good mixture thus far.

The Ravens win on ball control and good defense. They aren't really built to play from too far behind because it nullifies the ball control aspect. They aren't a dropback-and-pass-45-times-a-game offense, nor do they have the WRs to do it.

I get that, but if you have an elite QB, you have to be able to play well from behind.  Wilson, Brady, Mahomes, etc. all scare you when they have the ball and they are trailing. Lamar, not so much so far, but he can change that tonight.  It is now set up perfectly for him.  Gonna be fun to watch.
