I did think about doing that.Since you retracted your Child in Time pick, you could take 1-5 in round 189 and 6-9 in round 190.
This song will forever remind me of doing acid for the first time. I remember this song playing in the house we were in, and a guy in the house saying to look at the equalizer on the stereo. I did not enjoy that trip. I gave it one more try at a Grateful Dead concert, and I did not enjoy that trip either. It last for hours too. Do not recommend.I assume I don't get all 9 parts, right?

Lol. Could have gone with the classic Rush jam Roll the BonesAll bonus picks from this game are noted by the number 14 in the Pick field on the spreadsheet.
This is dedicated to @Eephus for obvious reasons. We'll put it in Classic Vinyl.
Tumbling Dice -- The Rolling Stones
I barely drank in HS (actually probably didn't at all until maybe once summer before college. I was very anti-smoking too. Get to college and get a roommate that had and dealt damn near anything - weed, hash, shrooms, acid. So of course my dumb ### thought it was a good idea to do acid before all that because, well you don't have to smoke it I guess? I remember getting freaked in the bathroom because I thought I saw the devil in the pattern of the ####ter stall, having a brief conversation with a dog as we went back to the dorm, and sitting staring at the same spot in the corner of the room for about 3 hours when we got home. Good times. This song will forever remind me of doing acid for the first time. And now a Huey Lewis song dedicated to him.Mph is gonna be SO disoriented when he shows up here on Monday morning. From prog to chili dogs to euphemisms to virtual group hugs. Plus whatever happens tomorrow. He won't know what to make of anything.
I encountered a police officer on a horse outside of the stadium at the Dead concert, and I asked his horse, "Why the long face." The cop was nice, and asked me if I was ok.having a brief conversation with a dog as we went back to the dorm,
It was a Dead concert. He was just happy you didn't puke on the horse.I encountered a police officer on a horse outside of the stadium at the Dead concert, and I asked his horse, "Why the long face." The cop was nice, and asked me if I was ok.
But I DID put it in my "third 100" countdown of songs from 1969!Pip did a countdown of Neil Young songs, and Sugar Mountain was not in his top 101 countdown. I was expecting it to be in the top 10.

I have very little exposure to the Canterbury scene, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This hits all the sweet spots to my ears. Those 23 mins roll right by...
Seriously. Including the longwinded sentimental musings.Tonight is Delilah night.
Dammit, I was typing this one up when you posted! But your post was better anyway.Dedicated to @Dr. Octopus because I thought I knew everything there was to know about the Stones until I read his countdown thread.
Wild Horses -- The Rolling Stones (Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way? (Country Rock))
You were gonna pick Wild Horses?Dammit, I was typing this one up when you posted! But your post was better anyway.
Yes but I didn’t know which category to put it in. Not that that has stopped me so far.You were gonna pick Wild Horses?
I arrived at Wild Horses by asking "what did he rank highly on his countdown that would fit in a category we haven't put the Stones in yet?"Yes but I didn’t know which category to put it in. Not that that has stopped me so far.
I didn't know this site recognized GMT."Feb 14", which started at midnight GMT, is now the third-most-popular day on this thread.
I arrived at it with, what did he have highly that I still like?I arrived at Wild Horses by asking "what did he rank highly on his countdown that would fit in a category we haven't put the Stones in yet?"
Since it's country/folk-ish, I'd say let @simeyassign the category for this, as well as for the Sturgill Simpson song you dedicated to her.I’m on mobile now and it’s harder to post or look at ####. In honor of mph’s basement, I’d like to take this song I learned of through shuke’s thread. Category?
The New Basement Tapes - Kansas City
Ah yes, #6. I'm sure it'll be represented in some form at some point.I arrived at it with, what did he have highly that I still like?
I did a different method for yours, just thinking I’d take the highest one not taken. But you had 1-5 already! Then #6 was a hybrid, so I went with 7.
I have another choice for Dr O now, but I’ll post tomorrow when I can figure out a category. I’ve done enough “here’s a song and you figure out a category,” I think.I arrived at it with, what did he have highly that I still like?

I liked this a lot. Not generally big on things Mumford, but everyone did a great job here.I’m on mobile now and it’s harder to post or look at ####. In honor of mph’s basement, I’d like to take this song I learned of through shuke’s thread. Category?

Yeah, this was a surprisingly good find for me on that countdown.I liked this a lot. Not generally big on things Mumford, but everyone did a great job here.
@Ilov80s or whoever: I suggest it be put in The Noble Eightfold Path (Classic Punk). For RA since we're the ones who appreciate it the most...
The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
Category whatever you guys want - I've lost track.
Good nightI'm going to bed. All of the playlists I control are up to date, as is the spreadsheet, as of right now. I'll sort out the retirement tracking in the morning.
I've listened to Certain Songs a half dozen times tonight. How about a shoutout to @Northern Voice. How about we put this in the Summer Channel?
The Hold Steady - Constructive Summer
Thanks and nice pick! Thought about taking Wraithchild from that era.Not sure how he feels about pre-Bruce Maiden, but the bass channel needs some Steve Harris, so I will throw in Innocent Exile for my DFS bro, @Raging weasel
