Alt Nation this weekend is doing "March Sadness". Technically emo branded but we could do a sad songs/emo combo..

I feel like half the songs I draft are sad, but I type them with a smile.

Yesterday when I was scrambling to get in a safe place when a tornado was possibly entering my hood, a lens on my eyeglasses apparently popped out. I still have not found it. I can see fine far away without them, but I need them to read up close. I'm wearing an old pair right now that have scratched lenses, and a taped arm. I have looked everywhere except for where it is.

Shut Up and Rock (Surf)

Rd 258 Amapola by The Spotnicks

BONUS CHALLENGE FOR SHUT UP AND ROCK

I chose a song starting with the letter A. You choose a rock instrumental song or band starting with the letter B then someone chooses C and so on.

Well that sucks! Any chance you might find the missing lense or not a chance?

Now on tap: C

I will leave it out there for awhile to see if we get any more players. Again they can draft an instrumental song starting with C or from a band starting with C.

I have no idea where else to look. I grabbed the glasses off of my desk, and I put them in my coat pocket incase I needed to read my phone. They weren't even on my face. After I got out of the coat closet  , I did a few things and I put the glasses back on my desk. I later sat down at my desk and put on my glasses, and I had this distorted vision. At first I was like WTF is wrong, and then I realized I was missing a lens. I looked at all the places I had gone after I got out of the closet, and I cannot find the lens. The first place I looked was in my coat pocket.  It's a mystery.

Does the shut up and play your guitar category find anathema in a few word hootings? Some of the best rock instrumentals have said word hootings and interjections.

I was actually wondering the same thing the other night

Dang, I guess the only obvious spot now is where you were when you pulled the glasses out of your pocket? Maybe the lense had already been knocked loose and when you pulled the glasses out the lense came up and out? That is all I've got.

We tend to make up our own rules as we go along, so we'll see if folks do that.

I've been drinking since noon as I do on the first Friday of every March Madness, so I haven't a good idea of categories let alone understand the alphabet well enough to participate in the bonus rounds.

Funny, my last memories of the tourney (since the 2020 didn't happen) was drunken posts about Jah and Zion with you and MoCS in this March Madness thread.

258.k4  Run the Jewels - Ooh La La (feat. Greg Nice and DJ Premier)

My intention is to have this on XMU2rocks, but if you don't like it there, throw it in featuring.

I've listed it as XMU Rocks on the spreadsheet and will leave it that way unless told otherwise.

So funny...ex-Mr. krista was talking about this just an hour ago.  I was not aware of the original, being not my thing and all, but he was telling me how an original that was awful was somehow released as a four-hour "director's cut" from a director that's terrible?  That's the idea I got, anyway.
