Segue Way -- Two tracks that flow into each other seamlessly on an album. Examples already taken include Wings' Venus and Mars/Rockshow and Nektar's Crying in the Dark/King of Twilight. Wouldn't matter if Spotify had them as one track or two. Medleys OK too.

@Eephusreminder I suggested this and Chaos Commish suggested title tracks.

363.8 or 12 - David Bowie - Absolute Beginners  (Bowie Channel)

Title song from the 1986 Julien Temple film that failed to capture the magic of Colin MacInnes' wonderful novel of 1950s London.

The song was the second best thing about the movie after the extended tracking shot that opened the film.

I saw him at Outsidelands but that's cause Mrs. Eephus told me I'd be a fool if I left early. He was incredible. I cried like a baby.

Last chance for Jazz Fusion so I'll fill in some gaps.

364.8 - The Eleventh House with Larry Coryell - Birdfingers  (Fusion)

Guitarist Coryell was a big deal in the early days of Fusion but his band is mostly forgotten today.  Being named Larry Coryell probably didn't help.

364.12 - Passport - Big Bang (Fusion)

German group led by sax player Klaus Doldinger

364.812 - Pat Metheny Group - Phase Dance  (Fusion)

He's always used the Pat Metheny Group moniker for his populist works to separate them from his more experimental stuff.

Listened to 1900s on 19 while walking Lou tonight.  It's a very enjoyable mix of stuff I rarely listen to.  I'll bonus it up to 90 minutes

1900.19 - Billy Eckstine - I Love the Rhythm in a Riff  (from 1946)

The velvet throated Mr. B's short lived big band was an inflection point between Swing and Bebop.  A who's who of musicians including Bird, Miles, Dexter Gordon, Art Blakey, Sonny Stitt and Fats Navarro passed through the band and Eckstine allowed the occasional Bop tunes his setlists.

19.1900 - Eddie Lang & Joe Venuti - Wild Cat  (from 1927)

A swinging duet with Lang on guitar and Venuti on violin

Round 364:

David Bowie Channel

Butter Boy -- Fanny

I took Fanny's first top 40 hit for Grrrls Grrrls Grrrls. This was their second and last, and it was about Bowie. The band actually had a bit of a history with him:

In 1971, Bowie sent the band a letter to tell them he liked their music, and invited them to at least one of his afterparties.

Bassist/singer Jean Millington, who wrote Butter Boy, was married for a time to Bowie's guitarist Earl Slick.

Bowie gave them a shoutout in a 1999 interview with Rolling Stone: "They were extraordinary: they wrote everything, they played like mother####ers, they were just colossal and wonderful, and nobody's ever mentioned them. They're as important as anybody else who's ever been, ever; it just wasn't their time."

@Eephusreminder I suggested this and Chaos Commish suggested title tracks.

little confession. the 80s station was, for me, a little too much deep cuts and not enough "light chalk" at least. i don't pine for chalkity chalk chalk. it's played and boring, but when y'all picked some not so deep cuts, that maybe charted but not top 25, the reminiscing was fun. title tracks sort of forces that. so would "shallow grave", not so deep. opening up either from 60s to date could end up weirdly random. not sure if that is good or bad, and i am just rambling, and clearly more peanut gallery than participant, so.
