However, the third one is there in its entirety, including the bonus tracks from the 2007 reissue. These drafts are a periodic reminder to check if Moby Grape's debut album is back on Spotify. No luck :(

Does this rock enough for Krista's garage?
She must be having a busy work day since she hasn’t come by to weigh in.Does this rock enough for Krista's garage?
Yeah, it bums me out when artists' aren't available on the streaming platforms. I know the royalty rate sucks but it's usually some other previous dispute that's holding things up. You can almost always find things on the Internet but for playlist purposes, Spotify is the only platform that matters. However, the third one is there in its entirety, including the bonus tracks from the 2007 reissue.
This rocks plenty hard for my garage if I had onewe made it to 60
I also love when punk songs are just 1 minute long and get right to the point

Yep. I blasted the song that was my first choice because it’s on YouTube.Yeah, it bums me out when artists' aren't available on the streaming platforms. Yeah he has always deserves a wider audience, Springsteen did his own version of 1000 guitars on his new lp...I listened to a bunch of his music when doing the Springsteen jukebox. Nile is a Rock 'n Roll lifer.
His fame decreases proportionally to the distance from the East Village.Yeah he has always deserves a wider audience, Springsteen did his own version of 1000 guitars on his new lp...
I’m close enough I guessHis fame decreases proportionally to the distance from the East Village.
Looking for what I wanted for my 2nd faction song today took me across a lot of music would have worked just as well in the garage underground. Tons of crossover there for sure. This rocks plenty hard for my garage if I had one
I was seriously thinking of a Love song, but decided against it since we'd discussed it in Summerpalooza. Good show. They should be here.Round 60:

My Little Red Book -- Love
For their debut single, Arthur Lee and co. absolutely slayed this Burt Bacharach song.
We've probably had this discussion before but the Punk/proto-Indie scenes were more interchangeable in the 70s and very early 80s. 80s American Hardcore erected walls around themselves and instilled an us vs. them mentality which was particularly easy as what would be Indie bands in most other times flirted with the mainstream in the early MTV era.Listening to the Faction playlist now. Enjoying the later additions. Thursday is near and dear to my heart, too. Recently they did a live show online where you could pay what you wanted depending on your economic status. It was the honor system. This was at the height of corona's first shut down wave. It was a good show, and plenty worth the suggested donation.
I don't want to feel this way forever/a dead letter marked return to sender
This is not by way of criticism, but Joyce Manor and Semantics clearly show that the line between indie and punk has been blurred to the point of almost being impossible to distinguish. If it weren't for the spikes or the label given them, one would never know which was which. It's something that started around Jawbreaker and has never relented, punk being the province of emotional white teenage males, for the most part. Anyway, that's just something I noticed. In the constant synthesis of genres that music sees, the indie/punk melding as early as 1990-5 culminating with Jawbreaker's Dear You and others is still very, very strong and rooted down.
I don't think we have had the discussion before, so it's cool to hear that. That's a very interesting point, actually. I know that punk and indie traversed together by their very nature at the start but never thought of hardcore as erecting the walls around the scenes. It makes total sense when I think about it. Hardcore was never really that giving of a genre, maybe by its nature but at least by manifestation (by nature I mean lyrical content and musical delivery, by manifestation I mean the crowds that it pulled). We've probably had this discussion before but the Punk/proto-Indie scenes were more interchangeable in the 70s and very early 80s. 80s American Hardcore erected walls around themselves and instilled an us vs. them mentality which was particularly easy as what would be Indie bands in most other times flirted with the mainstream in the early MTV era.

Nowhere Man by the Beatles was playing like 20 minutes agoUh, how do I know if a song rocks hard enough for the Underground Garage?
Not garageWe will add to the live mix. I draft her a bit, but Tori is one that I go back to over and over. Funny enough, I think seeing her live was a turning point for me probably being a bigger fan of her's than my wife (who was the reason we were going to begin with). Such a power and confidence on stage that sucked me in right away. Thought it would be fitting to take more of her for this station.

Bob Marley - Mr. Brown
Story goes Glen Adams wrote this one, but Lee Perry wanted Bob Marley on vocals for it. So Bob brought Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer along for the ride and recorded it with Scratch Perry. A lot of reggae royalty there. This has been a personal fav of mine for probably a couple decades now. Really dig the almost rugged, less polished sound to this and a lot of the older Bob tracks. The intro organ leading into the almost guttural vocal that segues into the ooooooooh oooohs is such a fine intro.
Shoot didn't see this, and I picked a song from the same album. Sorry.
It's really hard to resist drafting stuff from the first Pretenders album.Shoot didn't see this, and I picked a song from the same album. Sorry.
I think I drafted Precious in a draft from a long time ago under the category of #1 track from a debut album.... So I have a soft spot for that song.
No worries- it's a good song and doesn't break any written or unwritten rules.Shoot didn't see this, and I picked a song from the same album. Sorry.

Sweet. I was surprised by the picks and it wouldn't be that out of place, but that's cool. Thanks for the attention in doing that. I didn't want it kicking off the list over more of the Ten type stuff and rockers.Pearl Jam playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7gpv8pHIbKJwyvTtzrlIhu
