***Official 2020 Election General*** (2 Viewers)

More than 1 million mail in ballots have not been counted yet in PA.
If I'm Biden, I'm more worried about MI and WI than PA.  I know PA was supposed to be closer but start looking at the county breakouts.  Trump is outperforming most places, unless the mail ballots aren't in there at all and this is all day of vote count, it's the best Trump could have hoped for.

Dems need to go back to the drawing board, reject the socialism platform and get with the program.
There's also a whole lot of cancel culture and Hollywood and Eastern elite culture that can be flushed down the drain, too, if they're serious about referendum elections about #### like that.

Trump saw the void in the manufacturing and uneducated classes for the Republican Party and took it. Will Democrats capitalize on their natural symbiotic bedfellows in Soccer Moms and become more suburban and capitalist?

Time will tell.

Democratic officials in Wisconsin say Milwaukee votes will not be reported until 3am. Biden will see a net gain of 100,000 votes or more. He will win WI. #ElectionNight

To me this looks likely to be broken into 4 distinct stages...

Point A: States with mail in votes already counted drop huge Biden numbers out of the gate making him look like a clear winner

Point B: In person, 11/3 voting favors Trump heavily and lopsided numbers start to completely flip to Trump (betting odds start flipping)

Point C : States which haven't begun counting mail in votes release in person 11/3 which again heavily favor Trump and show him with surprisingly big leads in unexpected places (betting odds begin to fly out of control for Trump)

Point D : (currently unfolding) Trump's big leads can't be taken in any definitive way with mail in results yet to come. Big piles of Biden mail in votes might swing things right back.

Seems like everything is still completely up in the air to me.

Anyone else seeing a big shift in Starr County in Texas?

Fox is saying:

Biden- 9099 (52.1%)

Trump- 8224 (47.1%)

In 2016:

HRC- 9246 (79.1%)

Trump- 2218 (19%)

Not a Texas expert, but thought it was interesting. Also a small county.

What's not to know?  I'm watching CNN as well and it seems like they're just hoping a prayer gets answered.   NC is getting further and further apart.   I'm not sure what's supposed to happen that could change that.
FWIW, The NYT needle for NC has moved to 83% Trump, it was over 95 earlier. I agree seems unlikely.

Dems need to go back to the drawing board, reject the socialism platform and get with the program. The latino & cuban vote in south Fl is proof that they are failing miserably. This is the people talking. They don't want to hear from AOC, omar and the rest of the socialists.  Great day for America.
Not quite. The liberal candidate in the Miami-Dade county mayor's race, Daniella Levine Cava, a Jew married to a Hispanic, whose platform included climate change mitigation, expanding health care, expansion of mass COVID testing, requiring county contractors to provide paid leave, etc and beat the conservative Cuban candidate who said Daniella was too socialist. She had a great ground game and she got an early start. They were both county commissioners and well-known.

California (55) called for Biden

Oregon (7) called for Biden

Washington (12) called for Biden

no net change from expectations

205-144

What I'm talking about is that Florida/TX/OH/GA are clearly Trump wins right now.  If they can call NY already, why aren't they giving Trump Florida?
OK. When you stated "lol at CNN.  Biden has a "big lead".  Why aren't they calling GA/NC/FL/TX?  Such a joke" you weren't actually saying that CNN was reporting that Biden has a "big lead" because they have not done that on any kind of national level.

You were just complaining because you think they should have called FL/OH/TX/GA.

They called NY because I imagine the margin in the race is factors of what it is in the states you listed above.

So not really a "joke".  And all the maps John King has up right now, he is not factoring in FL/TX/GA as a path to a Biden win - they are all red.

lol. You could not be more out of touch on this. The policies that you (and republicans to cause panic) paint as “socialist” but are common throughout the developed world outside the U.S. poll EXTREMELY well with Americans across the board, from both parties, when separated from a candidate. If anything the Democratic Party does not lean into it enough, they try to have it both ways to be morally superior but still palatable to Wall Street. They run these corporate centrist stooges who are barely distinguishable from their republican counterparts minus overblown stances on abortion and healthcare, then weakly try to appeal to the more left crowd, but never go all-in on it.

Which does nothing to prevent Republicans from calling them socialist anyways, even you believe it! The Dem corporate establishment still rules the roost and they in recent history have been unable to find someone who both fits their current brand of vanilla moderate who “waited their turn” and also appeals broadly to voters. Even Obama was extremely moderate, a great friend to the military industrial complex and Wall Street, corporate interests, etc. Yet he was still demonized because you’ve been led to believe that almost anyone with almost any platform could be a big bad scary socialist.

Nothing about the results tonight are a commentary on the further left leaning members of the dem party that you’re afraid of. Every single one of them wrecked their well-funded challengers, in fact. The party doesn’t embrace their policies nearly enough and instead tries to tread water in the middle, and fails. The establishment dems in this country would be considered downright conservative in most other developed countries.

Yeah, we're not gonna know who the President is until next week.

Beyond ridiculous that Pennsylvania couldn't start counting until this morning and then had a hard stop so early in the night. Its absolutely absurd.

No...it's a joke.  But I don't want to argue with you. Whatever man

Are you kidding me!? Democrats are going to try to steal this!

Wisconsin says there's no way they are announcing a winner tonight

Michigan needs until Friday

Pennsylvania isn't coming out anytime soon, either

Per officials in those states

Counting all the votes is stealing the election?  I thought counting all the votes was, you know, the primary goal in all of this.
Yes, but this is  a Trump supporter talking point all over social media already unfortunately.

I always suspected you were Noam Chomsky.
