***Official 2020 Election General*** (4 Viewers)

Is there still a possible combo for 269-269?
1. Trump wins NV/AZ/PA/NC, Biden wins MI/WI/GA.

2. Biden gets 270 but a faithless elector votes for Trump.

3. Trump wins NV/WI/PA/GA, Biden wins MI/AZ/NC.

4. Trump wins NV/WI/PA/MI, Biden wins NC/AZ/GA.

These two posts remind me of a very informative article that I came across the other day: "What I Learned From Training To Be A Right-Wing Poll Watcher"

Excerpt:

Alan Vera, ballot security chairman for Texas’ Harris County GOP, wants prospective poll watchers to keep an eye on their coffee.

“Here’s a tip that I almost hate to have to tell you, but: Do not accept coffee from the election judge or any of the clerks,” he warns early in a training video for volunteer poll watchers. “We’ve had too many instances in the past where laxatives have been hidden inside coffee and our poll watchers end up spending the day in the restroom instead of in the polls watching what’s going on.”

This first rule of poll watching speaks to the bigger lesson I learned from sitting through hours of conservative poll watching training videos over the past several weeks: These programs are more about instilling paranoia in the Republican Party faithful than about actually teaching them to successfully suppress votes.
Two weeks ago, I was told that Republicans wanted to get Barrett confirmed so the Supreme Court could declare Trump the winner before all the votes were counted.

Yeah just pointing out that tweets from somewhat unknown people isn’t necessarily helpful to us trying to follow along and see what’s happening. If that gets posted, it should include an explanation of who saying it.
My apologies.  I figured you political guys would know who that was.

I've never been so ambivalent about the person I voted for.  I keep finding myself halfway rooting for Trump, but then I remember I think he is a horrible person and voted for Biden.  It's like watching a game where you have a rooting interest for both teams.
It's like the Patriots are playing the Cowboys.

To win re-election, Trump needs to hold his leads in GA, PA, and NC. If he wins all three, he then needs to win either AZ or NV, but not both.

This is far from over.

The fat lady has warmed up.

I know that, and I admire them. I meant in terms of significant voting numbers.
I didn't think it was possibly for someone to make more inaccurate claims than Trump, but you are giving him a run.

Stolen from Twitter

If Biden and Trump tie in Pennsylvania, they are still in the lead in the NFC East.
Good find sho.

The Trump campaign has released a statement saying it has filed a lawsuit in Michigan asking the state to halt counting until it receives “meaningful access” to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process.

CNN teams in Michigan have not seen evidence that the suit has actually been filed but continue to check.

While the Trump campaign has said that lawsuit has been filed in the Michigan Court of Claims, docket clerk for the Court of Claims, Morgan Adams, told CNN that the court has not received the filing.
I'm confused.  Aren't there both republican and democrat observers there?   At least in PA there are a LOT of people from both sides, as well as media, observing the counting.

Let’s be honest, there really aren’t any never Trumpers.
I was fooled, I thought they were real. I thought the Lincoln Project would have an effect. But I’ll bet anything at this point that when we study this election, every Republican in sight voted for Donald Trump. It’s his party now; that’s the reality.
Lol we tried to warn you about that the Lincoln Project and Rick Wilson were just a bunch of dusty old neocons butthurt about their candidates getting run over by the Trump train in the 2016 GOP Primary. They played you guys like a fiddle.

I'm guessing they made them social distance and they're complaining that six feet away isn't "meaningful access"

Georgia getting interesting/weird/something.... Trump now up 78k... almost 10k vote gain today coming from presumably the Atlanta area.

It's not weird. Been predicted. The lead was 102K when they started counting again today.

This one is going to be close, IMO.

Yes there are. The place is at capacity with challengers from GOP. Dems actually put an all call out this AM trying to get more Dem challengers to balance out how many Republicans were there.

Must be nice to not have a job, or stuff to do.

Well this is going to be decided in the courts
Seems pretty obvious that Trump will take it to the courts.  But I'm failing to see a case here?  Seems like a hail mary as the courts don't take too kindly to  aunt Thelma on facebook's claims of voter malfeasance

If Arizona goes to Biden tonight, I wonder if he will have an acceptance speech.  That would infuriate the Don

Biden -380/Trump +290

Bovada.lv

Biden -350/Trump +245

The betting line swings have been crazy.

I was able to get some money in on Biden +260, wish I put in a bit more. This is a tight race though, hopefully the VP wins the states he's currently leading in.
