I suppose that Trump supporters here are okay with this Trump tweet?

"Now it turns out that Brad R's brother works for China, and they definitely don't want 'Trump'. So disgusting!"

It turns out Raffensperger has no siblings who work for China, as Trump baselessly alleged.

"There are no relatives who work for China or are affiliated with China," said Georgia Deputy Secretary of State Jordan Fuchs.

Trump apparently got his information from an interview on Newsmax with Dick Morris who was pushing conspiracy theories about the Georgia Secretary of State.

After the interview Newsmax issued this statement:  “Newsmax has never made any claim of impropriety by Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger or any member of his family. On Tuesday night, while appearing on the network, commentator Dick Morris claimed he was reporting on Dickmorris.com an allegation that Raffensperger had a brother who worked at a Chinese company. This claim was apparently inaccurate. During the segment the Newsmax host was highly skeptical of Mr. Morris' claims and suggested there was no evidence behind Mr. Morris' assertion, and specifically asked Mr. Morris to provide evidence of his claim."

Just another bold faced lie that Trump tweets, this time about a fellow Republican and yet people still follow this guy.

Hold my beer............................. "It was sarcasm and if not that..... Trumps endorsment of the use of the word "brother" was done in an amporhous way that signifies that ANYONE working for China is, in fact, Brad R's brother....because they are brothers in Socialism and Communism. Once again Father Trump plays 3D Star Trek Chess while Libs and the Lamestream play Tic Tac Toe."

Blame Sessions/Rosenstein ....Trumps own men.  They gave credence to these claims by not shutting them down in an official capacity.  Their official acknowledgment of the idea of Russian interference in the election gave legitimacy to the conspiracy theorists.  Trumps own people undermined his own legitimacy.

Amazing that Trump and his people didnt' understand that.

Its amazing to me how the GOP involvement in the Mueller investigation gets completely glossed over. Mueller is a life-long Republican, appointed by Rosenstein, another life-long Republican who himself was appointed by the Republican president, and initially hailed by Republicans as a terrific choice as Special Councel who would ultimately "get to the bottom of things".

Not to mention the Republican Mueller specifically documented nearly a dozen instances of credible obstruction of justice.

Its also amazing that it gets confused with the impeachment.   Or claims that Mueller found nothing.

Seems some are again working with alternative facts.

This is beyond ridiculous. Only one person has the power to put an end to all of this. Donald Trump, concede now and stop the madness!

At least 140 House Republicans to vote against counting electoral votes, two GOP lawmakers say

"The president and his allies are playing with fire," (Ben Sasse) wrote. "They have been asking -- first the courts, then state legislatures, now the Congress -- to overturn the results of a presidential election. They have unsuccessfully called on judges and are now calling on federal officeholders to invalidate millions and millions of votes. If you make big claims, you had better have the evidence. But the president doesn't and neither do the institutional arsonist members of Congress who will object to the Electoral College vote."

"Georgia Witness Testimony: Debbie Fisher  Dec 24, 2020

Over 40 witnesses spoke to the media at Cobb Country Republican Party Headquarters in Georgia on Dec. 9, 10, 13, and 14. They presented evidence of election irregularities and fraud they had collected during the 2020 election ballot counts and recount. Some of them did not get the chance to give their testimonies in person, but sent their video testimonies or did a video interview online.

Debbie Fisher from Cobb County, Georgia, worked during the general election, the hand recount, and the machine recount in her county. She was a member of the voter review panel for the Nov. 16 hand recount, and she noticed something suspicious about the batch of military ballots she handled.

“I reviewed 298 military ballots on Nov. 16. One thing after I had seen several that I noticed was they were exceptionally clean. I was comparing them to the ballots that I had seen during the general election that didn’t even come close to comparing to these ballots,” she said. “What I found was, there were bubbles on the ballots that were filled in perfectly, there was almost none that went outside the lines. There were no stray marks like we found on the ballots during the general election, such as x’s or checkmarks Not one ballot that I looked at had any kind of markings other than black. The circles were perfectly colored in,” she said.

When she reported the issue to the elections director, “I was told that the ballots can not be marked by a machine, because the military ballots in Cobb County had to be mailed.”

She estimated 80 to 90 percent of the military ballots were marked for Joe Biden. She also said she saw stacks of ballots that were 100 percent for Biden.

“I almost cried, of all the votes, of all the people in this country to have their votes disregarded, or to fraudulently submit a ballot for the very men and women who fight to give us the right to vote. It made me physically sick to my stomach,” she said.

She also alleged problems with the watermark on military ballots and an uncooperative behavior from the election supervisors."

BREAKING: DOMINION MACHINES HACKED LIVE IN GEORGIA RUNOFF. Voter Fraud Senate Hearing 12/30/2020

Dominion system hacked live during Georgia election hearing

By World Tribune on December 30, 2020

A witness at Wednesday’s state Senate hearing in Georgia was able to access, in real time, the Dominion system at a Georgia polling place. Inventor Jovan Hutton Pulitzer established a two-way communication from a polling pad in a voting center.

“At this very moment at a polling location in the county, not only do we have access through the devices to the poll pad, the system, but WE ARE IN,” Pulitzer said.

He continued: “And it’s not supposed to have WiFi and that’s not supposed to be able to happen so we’ve documented now it’s communicating two ways in real time, meaning it’s receiving data and sending data — should never happen, shouldn’t be WiFi, we’ve now documented it in real time.”

Georgia’s Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Elections and members of the Senate Judiciary Committee held the hearing to study Georgia’s Election Laws and the numerous voting irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. Pulitzer also revealed differences between ballots printed for Democrat precincts versus Republican precincts, which he said caused GOP votes to get kicked out by the Dominion Voting Systems machines.

Pulitzer confirmed that the system tabulating votes in the two Senate runoffs in Georgia is connected to the Internet. “That’s going on right there where everyone is voting [in the Georgia runoff],” he said.

Pulitzer said: “I have no regard for the smoking mirrors of how the machines work, the hidden stuff in the code, or how this machine is supposed to be programmed. If the machine worked according to programming none of us would be standing here. We’re here because something broke. “So I’m saying ‘I don’t care about the machine’. I don’t even care about the code that was written in the machine. What I care about is that physical artifact. And you know what? That physical artifact has material differences from district to district that should not be there … why are they there?”

https://youtu.be/UgeqGmvQXKs?t=323

Legal Mail in/Absentee ballots should have fold marks from the official paper ballot being process into envelopes. The electronic images of ballots will capture these kinematic artifacts. Printer copies of fake ballots will NOT have the fold marks

https://youtu.be/UgeqGmvQXKs?t=747

Legal Mail in/Absentee ballots will have been marked with ball point pen. This impression is also captured by the scanner. Printer copies of fake ballots will NOT have ball point pen impressions.

BREAKING: Technology Expert Can Determine If Ballots are Legitimate or Fake in Seconds

379,554 views •Dec 11, 2020

Exclusive interview with Jovan Hutton Pulitzer about his ability to digitally examine millions of ballots to scientifically prove if ballots are authentic or fake. He says we need to access the physical and digital ballots and within seconds can determine authenticity. His technology and approach have nothing to do with accessing the actual Dominion or other vendor machines.

Idiots is the wrong word. I'm convinced the correct word for Trump, his true blue supporters and those that are propping this up as anything close to legitimate is, actually, cowards. He's a coward. And so are the collective leadership of the GOP.

If there's a silver lining here, it's that Wood's actions will depress Republican turnout in the Georgia election. Also, I figure that every dollar that went to Wood or Powell is a dollar that didn't go to the campaign funds of either Loeffler or Perdue.

This stopped short of the best part of Sasse's statement. The next paragraph:

Let’s be clear what is happening here: We have a bunch of ambitious politicians who think there’s a quick way to tap into the president’s populist base without doing any real, long-term damage. But they’re wrong – and this issue is bigger than anyone’s personal ambitions. Adults don’t point a loaded gun at the heart of legitimate self-government.

I guess he's just another crazy, but I follow his twitter and re-posted it here because he does have a history of reportedly successful legal engagements in defamation cases (Richard Jewell, the Covington Catholic smirking kid and the Ramsey parents).  I'm just guessing, but my impression is its a money grab for him.  As long as there are gullible people out there, their money is probably going to the loudest, biggest-platformed grifter - and its a crowded group.  We know none of his lawsuits make any sense or have any chance of success, and his rantings are pure crazy-train stuff, but he is apparently still making good money from it.  His group funded the $2mil bail for the kid who is facing murder charges from the BLM incident in Kenosha, Wisconsin (I give Wood full credit for raising those funds and getting the kid out on bail - incredible service he did for that kid.)

So of these 140 Republicans every one of them was either re-elected in this 2020  election or newly elected and think this election had all kinds of improprieties. Does that mean we should question whether they themselves were legitimately elected? (Asking for a friend to anyone who supports this lawsuit)

I have no comment on Wood’s previous legal prowess, but if the allegations of his former partners are true, the guy is truly loony tunes. There is apparently audio where he claims that he might be the return of Jesus. He also believed he was going to be the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court because of a prophecy he heard on an old YouTube clip.

Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
James Lankford (R-OK)
Steve Daines (R-MT)
John Kennedy (R-LA)
Mike Braun (R-IN)
Cynthia Lummis (R-WY)
Roger Marshall (R-KS)
Bill Hagerty (R-TN)
Tommy Tuberville (R-AL)

Fine with me if any sitting senator wants to shame him/herself and tarnish a drain circling republican party by undermining the US democracy. At least then we know who stands for democracy.

John McCormack

@McCormackJohn

News:

@SenTedCruz

is circulating a letter calling for the rejection of Electoral College results until a 10-day "emergency audit" can be conducted to examine "unprecedented allegations of voter fraud."

It's a theatrical play being staged for an audience of one.

And we already know the plot and we already know how it ends.

I like how Cruz says "unprecedented allegations of voter fraud."   Yeah, what's unprecedented is the losing party continuing to make unfounded allegations despite all the evidence proving them wrong.

Lankford on this list surprises me the most. Not that I am impressed that much by most of the GOP Senators. In many interviews he has sounded a little more levelheaded than this.

It's classic lawyer speak, actually. Note that the letter does not say "unprecedented evidence" or "credible allegations".

He may as well have written "These allegations are part of a complete breakfast!"

Yeah, I guess he should have said “allegations of unprecedented voter fraud.”

My Senators...both elected because they said they would support Trump.  I don't know as much about Hagerty...but people have heard me talk about Blackburn...just a completely unqualified individual who is absolutely just beholden to her big donors and Trump.  Zero integrity at all in that woman.

There have been no credible allegations of anything to do with voting that would have impacted the election.

This has been repeatedly confirmed by state and federal courts

This has been repeatedly confirmed by governors

This has been repeatedly confirmed by election officials at multiple levels across multiple geographies

This has been convincingly confirmed by the departments of Homeland Security and Justice.

I get certain folks want to pander to the unmovable base but is it too much to ask that they pander in a manner that doesn't threaten democracy? Someone, anyone, please answer that for me.
