*New Orleans at Denver +16.5 (36.5)* (1 Viewer)

Well at least Hinton has 3 caught passes--unfortunately two were by the other team.

He looked hurt at the end of that play.....

not surprising. for a league that purports to care about player safety, they were pretty willing to throw this kid out there in the most dangerous situation they could concoct

feels like New Orleans need to turn to Winston going fwd though. this should be a blowout and Hill has looked not good

the Broncos will probably lose by even more next week when they (if nfl allows it) start an actual nfl qb. unprecedented times.

Is there a reason Taysom can't throw the damn ball to Kamara??
Taysom can’t make the additional reads past his primary. Kamara got so many receptions leaking out of the backfield while Brees went throughout his reads.

Hill also is struggling with the screen game — it’s just not there yet.

No kidding.  Doesn’t throw to him and vultures his rushing TDs.  Even Murray is getting more touches than Kamara with Hill as the QB.

Keeping Kamara fresh for the playoffs. It makes some sense not to use him on that last drive when the game was already out of reach. But no one could foresee 1 catch in 2 games.

I do like seeing Murray get the post-game interview. Lunch pail guy that deserves some accolades today.

Here is a -30 net passing yards from the late 70's - https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/197911040sea.htm
93 plays to 29 in that game?!?
Yep -- Seattle had only one first down all game. 11 punts -- 10 of those after a three-and-out.**

And the Seahawks went into that game favored by three. Then again, that was the 1979 Rams that got hot around mid-season, won a bad division at 9-7, and then made it to the Super Bowl. The Steelers won their fourth Super Bowl over that Rams team.

** Hmmm ... 29 plays (rushing att + passing att) ... ten three-and-outs would be 30 plays. Maybe some penalties accounted for the extra snaps?

EDIT: There's a YouTube video of highlights from that game -- November 4, 1979.

Ah - 6 sacks - forgot to add those in.  That makes for 35 plays.

Kamara has had an injured foot for the past couple of weeks, and NO has had the benefit of not having to use him.
