I’m going to play the economic/energy rebound with a micro-cap energy stock.  SM Energy (SM).

SPX at 4,175.

Screw it, give me $IMMR. Haptics used in Playstation controllers which are all the rage but has other applications as well, including vehicles,  VR, wearables. Hopefully can capitalize on the hype. Won patent fights against big names.

Changed my mind!!! I like the above but for this contest I want NNOX

I think 5G will be an investing buzzword in 2021 and network testing seems like a good  way to play.
" The company has positioned itself in an essential loop of the 5G chain, offering equipment for the validation, verification, and visibility of 5G networks. Viavi’s 5G business has been climbing steadily in recent years, and this was clear in recent quarters, when the company reported results in line with its historical reporting pattern despite the pressures of the coronavirus crisis."

I originally had Keysight (KEYS)  on my radar, but it has gone parabolic the last couple of months so looked for something that hasn't had its big run yet.....and is low priced enough for the Robin Hood traders to buy with their next stimulus check. (Just half kidding.)
Has positive analyst support, too.-- 8 Buys, 1 Hold
If you're already watching, you probably  know, but this is what's left of JDSU after spinning off  part of business as Lumentum

I don't own it. For a couple of years in a row( before this one) I was picking stocks I owned and that seemed to coincide with a top on the stock. So I am superstitiously going a different way......

:

Give me Intercept Pharma (ICPT) which will double twice from $25 to $100 by end of year. S & P flat at 3700.

Based on the picks so far, I would definitely buy into a FBG ETF with these picks. I don't exactly know how to construct such a thing but I bet I could scrounge up a couple hundred bucks for each ticker symbol to create my own.

THBR (SPAC) for Indie Semiconductor

S&P 4500

Trying CCL.  Vaccine will only help. People are going to get out and do things. A lot of those things involve eating and drinking and that is what you do on a cruise.

I thought about doing this myself.  Zero $ commissions make this doable.

If allowed, I pick UUUU+ warrants.  Symbol on Ameritrade is UUUU+

If not, UUUU is my pick

S&P 4200

I’m going with GRBK and will keep the optimism going as we all hopelessly chase yield with the market ending at 4,286.

pre-merger SPACs eligible?
I believe history would dictate you'll be locked into the final price of the ticker when it converts, rather than continuing to get the benefit of appreciation after the ticker changes over. Just FYI. Kind of limiting for you. And a prompt for correction if I'm wrong about that.

I'll go with EVFM - their product is Phexxi, non hormonal birth control gel for women and is applied on demand, instead of having to take pill every day.  Product has only been on the market for a few months, stock price has not moved positively since launch, so plenty of room to run.  Think 2021 will bring more marketing awareness and perhaps once we get through COVID, its going to be like the end of prohibition.

S&P: 3454

I’ll go with FUBO since it’s gotten knocked around lately and I don’t like seeing the red in my account.

S&P 4001.32

I am assuming Pink sheets is OK as I don't see rule against it, if not OK let me know and I will repick.

LYSCF

Lynas Rare Earths

LYSCF

Lynas Rare Earths
Good to go.

Lynas brought back some memories.  Probably 2011-2013 time frame (it all blurs together now) I bought into the rare earth idea.  What a %#&@ disaster that stock was for me.  I hope you have a better go at it and exercise the Lynas demons.   :D

I think I will go with Fulgent Genetics (FLGT). Still a lot of room to grow and it would benefit if this new COVID strain becomes a big deal.

S&P 500 forecast at 4200

Aileron Therapeutics ALRN

This company is working on something that would spare healthy cells from the ravages of chemotherapy, while leaving malignant cells exposed. Would be quite a trick.

S&P 4206.80

On Fidelity now I can but partial shares, so I could create a group with $100 or 1000 or whatever dollar amount for each share. I also think I could the somehow groupp those together to track their cumulative results. I might play around with it to verify..

Everyone check out the spreadsheet to make sure I got your entry correct.  Good luck everyone!
Please change mine to MITK from FUBO. I think going with FUBO was more of a I hope the red turns to green but I’ve got more skin in MITK and believe in it a bit more.

Was not able to post here for two months.

Here is my pick.

BLDP (Ballard Power)

S&P 500 - 4060
