Raegor says he’ll be in the slot this year

We didn’t pick Jefferson because he was just a slot guy

Yeah, I hear you.  But that was a Howie/Doug decision. And hopefully this is a Sirianni decision.  We'll see, I guess.  I share your frustration.

The whole year is an experiment anyways.  At this point I'm totally cool if they trot out Reagor as our Long Snapper just to see if it works.

Build the culture, try as many things as possible and don't care if they fail, and try to be competitive and make the playoffs next year by using what worked this year.

This doesn't make sense to me.
He later clarified he's working more in the slot than last year (when he lined up there almost 25% of the time) and that all the WRs are working in all the spots because the new offense is designed to move them around to give them the best matchups: "Honestly, I think this is going to make the whole team better. It’s not necessarily me being in the slot, but every receiver being interchangeable."

Sounds like the offense will be closer to what KC and SF do with their WRs, where there's no strict WR positions and players, it's more which WR fits best where on the field based on the play's design.

Nah, he's moving to the slot because Julio is going to play outside.

Kidding of course.

Noid this is great info, much appreciated! It’s for his 10th bday so want to make it special. An open practice would be awesome.
FYI, single game tickets go on sale June 2 as well as tickets for the open practices and on-filed VIP experiences:

tickets for the team's two public Training Camp practices will also go on sale Wednesday, June 2 at 10 AM. The Eagles will host its first public practice of the 2021 season at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, August 8 at 7 PM, with a second public practice scheduled for Sunday, August 22 at 7 PM.

Fans can purchase public practice general admission tickets for $10 by visiting Ticketmaster.com. There will also be an option to purchase a $25 VIP ticket that will provide fans with a special on-field experience at the practices. All ticket proceeds for the public practices will benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation and its mission to fund innovative autism research and programming. Seating at Lincoln Financial Field will be on a first-come, first-served basis. All individuals over the age of 2 will require a ticket for entry. There are no ticket limitations per customer and parking for the public practices will be free.

We didn't take Jefferson because Howie listened to the coaches over the scouts. Those coaches are gone, and we can't change it. We have to get the best fit for the guys with the coaching staff we have here now.

I can See Ward and Watkins, Hightower all rotating with Reagor in the slot at times. Fulgham for now has the spot OPP of Smith covered unless a Tate or Grimes or Watkins, Hightower gets going in camp. I can see them if JJAW has a bad camp moving on.

Sure it does. Reagor was brought in to please the coaches of the last regime despite the fact everyone including Howie wanted Jefferson. Howie wanted to try to play Nice with Doug and the former staff which is why they also reached to get him Hurts as well.

Thanks for looking out Bro! We were thinking about coming into town for a game and then Phillies next night, is the new Live! Casino/Hotel next to the stadium kid friendly have any of you guys heard?
I haven't been and totally forgot about the place but the website has a Philly Phan Pack if you are planning on staying the night or want to stay as close to the stadiums as possible.

Book your Philly Phan pack stay

Also Xfinity live is a no go for you guys as everyone has to be over 21 to get in. So you could go in but you can't take your son in.

There's a decent chance we are 0-6 heading into Vegas.  Was going to go to that Vegas game but heard the cheapest seat in the house is going to be $600+.  Would be a $3k trip with flights/hotels/tickets/spending money, so we'll see.
Still keeping an eye on the Vegas game but it seems like every fan in the NFL had the same idea... quarantine is over, let's head to Vegas!

I think this was going to happen even before covid. Vegas was popular already destination for a lot of people and no add a football team and games there and well the ticket prices sky rocket. Not sure what prices for Hockey are like but in popularity the sports don't compare here plus with Hockey you have more then 8 games to choose from and Hockey runs from Late OCT-Early Nov till April early May. Given Vegas success as well they go into most of May with the playoffs.

Eagles name David Caldwell former Jags GM as part of FO in some moves regarding the FO

Eagles hire Former Jags GM as an advisor promote former Montreal Aloutte FO to highest ranking position for a Female in an NFL org

The full list of personnel changes (per the Eagles press release)

Phil Bhaya – College Scout, Southeast

Brandon Brown – Director of Player Personnel

Dave Caldwell – Personnel Executive

Ian Cunningham – Director of Player Personnel

Matt Holland – College Scout, Northeast

Bryce Johnston – Senior Director of Football Transactions

Evan Pritt – Scouting Assistant

Catherine Raîche – Vice President of Football Operations

Jeff Scott – Senior Pro Scout

Ameena Soliman – Pro Scout

Starting to wish I had gotten on the list for Raiders season tickets!

The first year will be insane.  New stadium, fun experience heading to Vegas for a game, end of pandemic etc.

I'm still banking on getting Eagles tix when the regular public sale happens.  Resale is just bonkers.
I'm banking on selling my Eagles tix.  Hope everybody is excited to get out and the prices go through the roof.

They probably will.  If you have Season Tix then you should probably get them posted on ticketmaster and stubub asap before the regular tickets come out from the team.

Just listed.  Wow, the NFLTicketExchange recommended prices are insane.  Usually they are in the $300 range, now they're in the $600-900 range.  I've never seen them that high.

Yep.  My buddy has Broncos season tix on nflticketexchange and stubhub.  Already sold 3 games for much higher than he expected, and all on stubhub.  Try listing them there too, and inflate your prices a bit higher than you normally would.

People are going to be desperate to go out to games this year.  Those that can't afford expensive seats aren't your market anyways and will just try for them when they're released.  Wealthy people who really want to go to games are going to start buying up the tickets right away.  Hope you can make some money.

This is already happening. I sold both my preseason NE and PIT games for my extra set of seats for well over the "face value" of $68.25 each (but really my season ticket cost is $190 for each seat, across 10 games.)

For PIT, they went for $250 each and for NE they went for $170 each.

people paying $125 a seat for a preseason game?!  Damn.

I haven't been a regular at Eagles games for years, but I might try to hit one up this year with my sons. The SD game seems like a good one. Less interest from the fans, so hopefully that will drive the price down a bit.

*edit* Just realized I still call the Chargers San Diego.

Um, no, $250 EACH for the Steelers game, $500 total for the pair! And $340 for the NE pair.

They are great lower level seats so I have to imagine they were PIT and NE fans in the area or something that really wanted to see their team and sit in seats they probably wouldn't be able to if it were a regular season game.

Yeah, or even the Saints game if you're looking to predict the absolute least interest. No more Brees, fall weather will likely be gone, and it's the Sunday before Thanksgiving. And, we might even be mathematically eliminated by then!

Chargers have Herbert who might be a slight draw, but still reasonable compared to the other 6 games on an overall attractive visitors schedule this year. SF is the home opener after hardly any fans were able to go last year, so that's going to be insane. Then the next two home games are Mahomes/Andy and Brady, both of the SB teams from last year. The last 3 are all NFC East teams which will bring the usual rivalries and contingents of their fans that are in the Philly area or will road trip it.

Even the preseason games being against the Steelers and Patriots will bring interest because both are teams we rarely play in Philly and that have big fanbases.

The only thing missing from making this season an all-time slate of home games as far as ticket interest and resale values is the team being a legit SB contender!

My buddy gave his season tickets up two years ago and is absolutely kicking himself now after seeing the resale value.

But, yeah, NO is a good target as well. I didn’t even think about then not having Brees.

Wait until next year when (hopefully) the team is better AND there's the extra home regular season game. Season Ticket Members that sell will have it made by having 9 regular games to make a profit from and only 1 preseason game dragging them down. Throw in a playoff game if they win the NFC East and it's  :moneybag:

I got tix to the SEA cluster*** where it was Turnovers galore and they tried the horrible Dillard at RT experiment. I sat in the EZ high up for like $75. Could've done the Suite for 90 that day too.

I found out my Uncle just rented a 9 bedroom house in the Outer Banks in Oct week of the Carolina game in Carolina. Was a bit tempted to go but from where we are at it's a 6 hrs drive. Would have be a literal all day event. Wake up at 5 to leave before 6 if we want to get there in plenty of time and then probably not get back till midnight. The good thing is considering it's the panthers I can see this game on local TV rather then finding a stream for the game. The KC game is the Sunday before we leave and I get to see the TNF game vs TB while down there.

really hope that mean Fulgham lines up on the outside
I think the thing I'm most excited for this year is our WR's.  So curious who emerges, what positions work best for them, how Sirianni uses their speed, etc.  It's a young fast group (can't remember the last time I said that) and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it shakes out.

adding in Hurts scrambling, i do think the offense will be more enjoyable to watch this year

and man, if the Eagles go for some blttzes on D, and no more picket fence defenses on 3rd and long, it will be twice as fun watching games this year. Hopefully.... :scared:

Yep I'm surprisingly excited for this year.  Not at all concerned about wins (won't cheer for losses, but won't care if we lose), as long as it's enjoyable to watch and we develop some players.

Honestly I don't care if the offense is enjoyable or not. The main goal is to develop these guys and at least be competitive

Are Jets fans just so jaded by recent QB's that they're scared to invest their money in a Wilson jersey?

Kinda surprised Chase and Pitts aren't up there.

And I feel really bad for Lawrence when Tebow crushes you in jersey sales :P

Why is Justin Fields jersey so Popular? I'd have thought Lawerence would be in the top 10.

Hurts doesn't surprise me given now Starter and changed number.

I guess everyone is trying to buy their GB Rodgers jersey before he leaves

Fields is surprising the most.

Speaking of Jersey's my Devonta Smith Black Eagles Jersey (Or I should says JERSEYS) came today. Fit perfectly too. I noticed when I opened the package there were two. Looking at my order and all I think I purchased two jerseys by accident. it was only under $30 but when you add in I got a Tebow Florida Jersey, Harper Maroon Phillies jersey and My Carson Wentz Colts (STILL MY QB!!!!!) jersey an extra $30 adds up with the out of country shipping (which I will never complain about because I've gotten quality jerseys that look real for much cheaper with it included).

So the 2nd Smith Jersey I'm selling on the Facebook Market place. I wanted to at least recoup my money back (Shipping it back not even worth the Fee at this point) and hoping to make few extra bucks too.

Remember Fam

Eagles Open Practice tickets $20 with all proceeds going to my Favorite Foundation/Charity (Eagles Autism) go on sale at Ticket master tomorrow morning at $10AM eastern. My Buddy is interested and we're both gonna try to get tickets. Told him if we are each successful we could probably sell the extra two for profit considering what tickets are going for on the open market.

Hopefully this year I'm around some better Knowledgeable fans who don't think Miles Sanders is Barry Sanders' son and of the likes. That was painful to hear from supposed "diehard fans".

Pretty simple. There’s way more Bears fans than Jags fans. Chicago has a huge passionate fanbase. Jags not so much. The people buying the Tebow jerseys aren’t Jags fans, they are Tebow fans.

I'm more so wondering because Fields has the highest bust rate out of any QB. I think the Bears fans will be buying a different guys jersey in 4-5 yrs time again
