Yogi's NFL Playoff Trivia Question #2 (1 Viewer)

The Browns enter this year's playoffs having scored fewer points than they gave up during the regular season.  I have a two-part question for everyone: Since the strike-shortened 1987 NFL season, how many teams have gone into the playoffs scoring fewer points than they gave up, and who are they?

I'm doing some research on Wikipedia, and it looks like both the 1989 Oilers & the 1989 Steelers entered the playoffs scoring fewer points than they allowed.  Are there any others?  I'll keep everyone posted.

I found another answer to my trivia question: the 1990 Saints.  I'll keep everyone posted if I find any others.

I've got a couple other teams who entered the playoffs scoring less points during the regular season than they allowed: the 1993 Raiders and the 1993 Vikings.  There may be more answers to this trivia question than the other one I asked, so stay tuned.

I've got three more teams to add to the list: the 1996 Jaguars, the 1996 Vikings, and the 1996 Colts.

The 1997 Vikings also entered the playoffs having scored fewer points during the regular season than they gave up.

Here's a couple more answers to my trivia question: the 2004 Seahawks and the 2004 Rams.

There are 31 teams that meet this criteria.

Here are all of them since 2010

2019 Hou
2017 Buf
2017 Tenn
2016 Det
2016 Hou
2016 Mia
2014 Car
2013 GB
2012 Ind
2011 Den
2011 NYG
2010 Sea

The 7-9 2010 Seahawks had the largest negative point differential at -97. That, of course, was the Beastquake team

1990 Saints and 1999 Lions were both -1

Best record was 2012 Colts at 11-5 (-30 PD)
