The storm over "shadow banning " of Republicans on Twitter broke out in July after Vice News reported that some politicians didn't show up in a drop-down menu of automatically suggested searches, even when typing in the politicians' names. Dorsey had explained the hidden drop-down searches affected 600,000 accounts based on the activity of those accounts followers. Dorsey said he agreed the impact along partisan lines "was not impartial."

** I want to be fair about this all. When you get whistleblowers, you have to ask where the motive lies or could spin in one direction versus another. Were they fired for cause? Did they resign in good standing? What was the overall context of their work relationship with that company before separation? I want all Conservatives to ask the deeper questions about context, even if it leads to answers they might not initially like or want to hear. That being said, much of what is covered in these videos, there is no context that will spin much of what was said in another direction. I also want to be fair in that content moderation is clearly not an easy job/career. I posted two videos to show the job in a different light/angle to pinpoint the amount of stress these people are under.

That being said, it's clear social media, where over 70 percent of Americans use as their primary news source, leans clearly in one direction and the bias/censorship can't be questioned. Tulsi Gabbard was essentially "cancelled" for breaking ranks with the DNC, and Big Tech and Big Social Media are complicit. They shut her down at the most critical moment of her campaign because she crushed Kamala Harris, the chosen one picked by the power brokers of the DNC, where no one denies it's structure is a feudal system built around open money laundering for down the ticket compliance. The cancel culture isn't just wiping out Republicans. They'll shank anyone who doesn't fit their narrative.

And if you are a straight white male Christian, in the eyes of Big Social Media and Big Tech, you have no rights and should be treated like a domestic terrorist and shadow banned.

One of the most disturbing comments was the one that said, even though they couldn't moderate out Trump, they were glad they could silence the "Average Joe"

For the liberals, progressives, far left radicals and woke cancel culture lefties here, what happens when it's your turn to get silenced?  What happens when a small group of unelected radicals, with close to no real oversight, decide it's your turn to be punished for the crime of thinking differently and having different opinions and being insolent enough to think you could actually share it in public without punishment?

Conservatives are not your enemy. We are just at the beginning of the list. I assure you, give it enough time, and all of you will get your turn as well. **

I'd do the same as anyone else, I'd find a different platform to post my opinions. The options are pretty much unlimited. It's dirt cheap to throw up a WordPress blog on a server in the worst case scenario. Capitalism and freedom of speech are pretty amazing.

It is?  I don't think you know technology very well if you want to reach the masses.   Most people don't/won't/can't either, so that's a non-starter for just about everyone.

Also, I don't believe you would find another platform and go quietly.  No way.

Yes. It is very cheap to set up a server and host a blog. It can be done for a couple dollars per month. Obviously costs would increase if you get a lot of traffic but so does your ability to monetize it.

I don't believe freedom of speech gives you the right to an audience. If you want to access Twitter's users then you have to abide by their terms of use. 

People not knowing how to set up a blog is not really an excuse. Most people don't/won't/can't start a tv network either, that doesn't mean that CNN or FOX should have to allow anyone to speak on their networks. 

Finally... Donald Trump has a huge audience. The majority of that audience are gonna follow him to whatever platform he uses. It is a big opportunity to make a lot of money. If I am Parler, I am doing whatever I can to make sure Donald Trump makes Parler his main platform going forward.

What is the point of this thread? I have seen Facebook accounts with pictures of people wearing MAGA hats all the time since June 2020.

I ask myself the same question concerning the wholesale killing of our children when I see pro-choice paraphernalia on display.

I respect their first amendment rights to express it, though.
