How the Righteous Brothers got their start (1 Viewer)

I had heard of the Righteous Bros but they were before my time so I didn't get all the fuss.  I remember seeing Cheers where they made mention of them a few times and knew they were onto something.

I loved the movie High Fidelity and made note when Jack Black mentioned Little Latin Lupe Lu but couldn't find it at the time.

Hadn't tried in awhile but found it today and Mitch Ryder's version.

I thought cool tune, file that one away but saw this interview with Bill Melody and gave it a listen where I found out THAT TUNE began the Righteous Brothers.

Its become a standard:

Thought it was interesting and that 'some' youngsters may not have heard of them considering the reaction vids.  The whole package definitely gets the young ladies who've never heard of them.  Just look at how they drink it in with their eyes.  Awesome to see such appreciation for timeless classic music.

Add more to the story if you got it.
