Not sure yet.Am I the only one who finds this exec attractive?
No doubt. I LOVE Meinerz. I so wish the Bill's took him. I think you have a stud.Nice draft so far for the Broncos.
I love that the Chiefs drafted a linebacker at #58.Is this a spoiler? I'm only seeing us at pick 61
my bad #58 Bolton
Honestly might wanna sell now.Hoping I get a big last hurrah from Mostert. Best possible outcome for me.
ADjust a little for age (I'm too old for 20somes...or 30somes for that matter lol)Not sure yet.
Now that I actually look... I'm out.
True, but let’s not put Mostert out to pasture - dude was busting 80 yard TDs like it was cool, and Wilson was way more than OK last year. AND they brought in Gallman who quietly put up strong numbers for a terrible Giants offense.Mostert just turned 29. Wilson's okay but not much more.
Sermon just feels like what the 49ers have been looking for.
I'm well into my 40's, so similar...ADjust a little for age (I'm too old for 20somes...or 30somes for that matter lol)
How about 40 somethings ?ADjust a little for age (I'm too old for 20somes...or 30somes for that matter lol)
Would prefer he went somewhere with a chance to get on the field day 1Wouldn’t mind if everyone let Tylan Wallace fall to the Chiefs at 144.
But if you would have asked if Barmore was worth two 4th rounders before the draft I think most people would say yes. I would be over the moon if I were a Patriots fan with this draft(in combination with the FA haul).Like the Pats draft except I thought 2 4ths was too steep to move from 46 to 38.
Sorry...fell asleep. Looks like we took some TE who can't catch. That's doesn't seem like a smart move. Also 6'3" and 241 lb. That's the size of guy the BYU OT we drafted dominated against. The upside of this pick is that we'll save salary cap space in 4 years when we don't have to worry about wanting to re-sign him.Okay. Now I really am here just for @BassNBrew 's reaction to the Panthers' pick. This one should be a doozy.
After that it looks like the new GM continued his approach to trade down again. I think we've effectively traded away all our picks for 30 UDFA picks.Tremble is known as a great blocker on the edge, but not a great pass receiver. He had only 35 catches for 401 yards and four TDs in his two seasons at Notre Dame
Nope! There is something about her I like. I kinda like her voice too.Am I the only one who finds this exec attractive?
yeah this is Sermon's backfield nowMostert just turned 29. Wilson's okay but not much more.
Sermon just feels like what the 49ers have been looking for.
Yeah there are still some good WRs left out there and some RBs that FF will hate going to really good spots. I feel like this is close to perfect. And my Bears got Fields. And #### Urban Meyer. But I'll live with the James Robinson torpedo if Chark wins leagues this year.Wouldn’t mind if everyone let Tylan Wallace fall to the Chiefs at 144.
For me so far:Through 2 days I'd say Miami has had the best draft overall. New England for teams without a bunch of extra picks.
Worst draft I'd say the LA Rams overall. Green Bay among teams with a normal amount picks.
I liked the Levi Onwuzurike pick a lot, the second DT not so much. But at 938 pounds I think we're leading the draft in weight through the first three picks. For me so far:
Saints and Rams have had the worst drafts
Chargers, Patriots, Chiefs, and Bears have had the best drafts
Giants and Raiders had terrible Day 1's but great Day 2's.
Cowboys and Lions had great Day 1's, but terrible Day 2's
Ya, Detroit's Day 2 wasn't TOO bad I guess. I was honestly just searching for another team to add to the "Good Day 1/Bad Day 2" category and they seemed to fill it the best over anyone else I found. Overall they've had a good draft, mainly carried by their A+ first round pick.I liked the Levi Onwuzurike pick a lot, the second DT not so much. But at 938 pounds I think we're leading the draft in weight through the first three picks.
The Syracuse corner is long and strong, could develop into a very good player. Plus we now have five Nigerians on defense.*
I wouldn't mind if we address the expansion roster WR room and the worst LB corps in the league - per PFF and my eyeballs that's not even close to hyperbole for the latter - on Day 3, but we're in full tank mode so there might be some 3D level chess to their methodology.
*admittedly I have no idea what that means
Thanks man! I’m usually hesitant to throw my $0.02 in but I have more time on my hands, so I may be chiming in a little more in the future.
Potentially. But by drafting a RB later on......it seems like these 4 teams all intend to have a veteran as the starting RB at least for week 1.Either the following are going to be starting RBs in the NFL and have significant fantasy value... or a rookie RB taken in the 4th round or later is going to have significant value on these teams:
ATL: Mike Davis, Cordarelle Patterson
NYJ: Lamical Perine, Tevin Coleman
MIA: Myles Gaskin, Salvin Ahmed
ARI: James Conner, Chase Edmonds
Let's say Michael Carter or Kenneth Gainwell goes to any of these four teams in R4 - they could still potentially start, right?
Right, but if Carter/Gainwell were to go to ATL or NYJ in particular, you'd have to think they had a decent shot of a timeshare in RBBC from week 1 and potentially a starting gig later on in the year?Potentially. I mean, James Robinson was the starter last year. So sure, it could happen.Right, but if Carter/Gainwell were to go to ATL or NYJ in particular, you'd have to think they had a decent shot of a timeshare in RBBC from week 1 and potentially a starting gig later on in the year?
I still think those two are 3rd down backs/specialists and they're even less coveted than something closer to a prototypical RB. I'm wondering if Jefferson, Hubbard or Hill get selected into one of these spots. I would agree that this pattern shows none of these rookie RBs are that highly regarded, but these backfields are wide open for competition.Either the following are going to be starting RBs in the NFL and have significant fantasy value... or a rookie RB taken in the 4th round or later is going to have significant value on these teams:

I’d add Seattle to the list. I like Carson but they need more behind him. Cincy could draft someone too, there’s not much behind mixon. Carolina could add a back behind cmc. Dallas maybe. There are lots of spots where various backs could get enough touches to be relevant.Either the following are going to be starting RBs in the NFL and have significant fantasy value... or a rookie RB taken in the 4th round or later is going to have significant value on these teams:

Ok, but there are many NFL backs who were initially pigeon-holed as 3rd down backs and ended up as starters, Alvin Kamara most obviously. The most frequent comp for Carter is Dion Lewis, but even he had a couple seasons when he carried the load.I still think those two are 3rd down backs/specialists and they're even less coveted than something closer to a prototypical RB. Maybe there will be another wave of vet movement but all 4 of these teams are ready for someone new to come in and claim the job. It could easily be one of these later rookie RBs, despite the lack of capital. I just don't think Carter or Gainwell are those guys, even though I do like them both. We'll see.
I don't disagree. And I think when you factor in height, a lower weight can be deceivingly stout. Like MJD. Carter and Gainwell are right there at that edge. I think they get drafted early today, *and* I think they *can* be starters. I just don't think it's going to be to an NFL team that wants to do that. If they are that good then maybe the cream rises. But if there is an obvious incumbent starter in front of them, then I'm not seeing it. Those 4 teams don't fit that criteria so yeah if we see Atlanta or NYJ take one of these guys it will absolutely get my attention. I just doubt it as I sit here at this moment is all.Ok, but there are many NFL backs who were initially pigeon-holed as 3rd down backs and ended up as starters, Alvin Kamara most obviously. And Corey Davis - sorry for an untimely reply.Wonder what the pecking order is now. They have Moore, Cole, Crowder, Mims
Yeah - I’m hoping they offer Crowder to the Niners, as he seems like the redundant piece - but the Niners may just wait for the Jets to cut him. As I understand they’ll save $10M+ in cap space. And Corey Davis - sorry for an untimely reply.
Agreed. Getting a lot of players I liked coming in. Plenty of talent to help them land RodgersDenver is having an excellent draft.
Better do a discount doublecheck on that take.Agreed. Getting a lot of players I liked coming in. Plenty of talent to help them land Rodgers
Would be an excellent fit for the Pats as a slot guy.Yeah - I’m hoping they offer Crowder to the Niners, as he seems like the redundant piece - but the Niners may just wait for the Jets to cut him. As I understand they’ll save $10M+ in cap space.
If the Niners want him that is. I think he’d be a perfect fit for what they do - they have Aiyuk & Debo, and Crowder would bring a completely different (and missing) skill set to the table.
