College QB Kedon Slovis, BYU (1 Viewer)

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis completed 27-of-42 passes for 223 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in a loss to Stanford.

Slovis (6'3/205) had ok numbers, but they don't tell the whole story. His ball placement throughout the evening was spotty, and it caused some missed opportunities, along with a pick-six to put the Cardinals up 28-13 and the game out of reach. His arm strength still isn't quite all the way back from what it was in 2019, as the zip on the football just isn't there. Next week, the Trojans travel to Pullman to take on Washington State, where they need a win to keep up in the PAC-12.

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis (undisclosed) is "likely out" for the remainder of Saturday's game at Washington State, according to ESPN's Kyle Bonagura.

Slovis (6'3/205) was injured during the first quarter of Saturday's game, after taking multiple hits from Washington State defenders. With the sophomore quarterback likely done for the remainder of the day, freshman Jaxson Dart has taken over the task of leading the USC offense. Before his exit, Slovis completed 1-of-2 passes, throwing for eight yards. USC is scheduled to host Oregon State next weekend.

I saw clavicle on TV while watching the heralded freshman replace him.

That was a heckuva first game by the frosh

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis completed 31-of-49 passes for 355 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Saturday's 45-27 loss against Oregon State.

Slovis (6'3/205) went the distance in this one, as QB Jaxson Dart was apparently still dealing with a knee injury. Interim HC Donte Williams indicated previously that the quarterback job is an open competition, and the heat might be turned up on Slovis after the first home loss against Oregon State since 1960. The Trojans will look to bounce back at Colorado next Saturday.

USC sophomore QB Kaden Slovis completed 19-of-26 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns in USC's 37-14 win over Colorado.

Slovis (6'3/205) spent most of the first half throwing deep contested fades to his receivers and watching them continually "moss" their opposing cornerbacks. Slovis for the most part was putting them in the right spot, high in the air where only his big-bodied WRs could highpoint them. A few times though his receiver (Drake London especially) saved him on errant throws. Still, Slovis did what he had to do to get his playmakers the ball. His highlight of the day was a perfect laser beam of a pass to Gary Bryant Jr. in the middle of the end zone. Bryant was covered but the ball was bulleted into his arms and left the defender no chance. Slovis will need to keep playing well next Saturday against Utah.

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis is now ranked in Pro Football Focus' top-25 college football starters according to 247Sports.com.

Slovis (6'3/205) got off to a slow start for the Trojans, throwing for just 855 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions in the teams first four contests. Slovis is the highest rated Pac-12 quarterback, coming in at no. 19, and recently turned things around last week against Colorado when he went 19-for-26 for 276 yards and three touchdowns as USC knocked off Colorado.

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis completed 33-of-53 passes for 401 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in a 42-26 loss to Utah Saturday night.

This was a much bigger loss than it appears in the final score. After throwing a touchdown to Drake London early in the second quarter to go up 10-7, Slovis (6'3/205) and the Trojans watched the Utes put up 28 straight points. The offense struggled until garbage time in the fourth quarter where they scored two touchdowns. USC is now 1-1 since they fired Clay Helton and they look to take the next step after the bye against Notre Dame on the 23rd.

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis completed 20-of-28 passes for 299 yards with an interception in a 31-16 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday.

Slovis completed 15 of his passes to Drake London, but when the ball wasn't heading London's way, things weren't so good. He also fumbled late in the game to cement a USC loss, although it came with the Trojans down by two scores so it may not have mattered. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound signal-caller wasn't awful, but he was going to have to be at his best to pull off the upset. He was not. USC falls to 4-4, but gets a very friendly matchup next against Arizona.

USC sophomore QB Kedon Slovis completed 16-of-28 passes for 131 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 31-16 loss at Arizona State.

Slovis (6'3/205) looked lost a times, and he gave way to freshman QB Jaxson Dart. The latter completed 8-of-17 passes for 89 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, but he also ran for 16 yards and a score. The fan base is turning on Slovis, and the team needs two wins in the next three games just to attain bowl eligibility. Perhaps we'll see interim HC Donte Williams look for a bullseye at California next Saturday, benching Slovis and starting Dart.
