***Atlanta at Miami*** +2 O/U 47.5 Pillow n a Blanket (1 Viewer)

Tua dinking and dunking his way thru the defense right now.

Lot of plays to get close to the Redzone...still a couple yards outside the 20 on the opening drive with over 5:00 off the clock so far.

Tua will likely come away with points, this is going to be his 4th opening drive of the season and the 3rd time he either comes away with a TD(twice already) or perhaps a FG.

Nope...TOUCHDOWN FORD!!!

Tua 3 Opening Drives out of 4 Starts he score a TOUCHDOWN!!!

I saw this last week on the road with wild cats chasing us down thru the streets of London

It's the Falcons, but that was good. At some point versus better teams Tua will have to throw and complete some deep passes. Gesicki has glue on his hands.

I have Waddle and Gesicki going on 1 DFS ticket

TD to Ford of course, might be his first in a teal jersey ever, have to check on that.

But Tua fans which goes beyond Miami fans, they're are many pulling for him, Tua wasn't lighting it up but the box score would have you believe otherwise. Tua fans will want to be quick to defend and I understand but he was throwing very short passes, nothing he was doing to stretch the Defense That is going to catch up at some point in the game.

And his arm still looks weak.

Miami backs them into 3rd and 12, Atlanta almost gave the ball up on the kickoff not fielding it.

Phins give a lot of time to Ryan but he ends up bouncing it and there was even Off PI called had he been able to pick up a FD.

Miami scores on the opening drive and then goes 3 n out on Defense.

-I gotta sit down...

3rd and 8, after a screen went nowhere to gaskin, throw a short check down never had a chance to make a first down that time.

Miami punts it back right away.

Incredible play by Mike Davis to pick up the first down after being tackled in the back field basically spins out and picks up the first down, incredible play.

It must be so frustrating for Davis to see Patterson run with huge lanes and when Davis gets the ball, two guys are waiting for him in the backfield.

When you take the opening drives out for Tua...

3 n Out so far today. He's up 7-3, probably doesn't want to make a mistake and wonder how this drive is going to look early in the 2nd Quarter. I don't think Miami has been very good in the 2nd Q most of the year.

1st down, dinkie pass to Gesicki in the flat or toward the right sideline.

2nd down and 8, tight formation they end up dropping back and then tucks it up and runs for a first down...mobility to make a move on a LB.

1st and 10, quick pass over the middle to Gesicki, 10 yds thru the air. Gesicki makes a nice catch.

1st down, Miami attempts to run

2nd and 7, dump off screen, Ahmed makes a FD

Announcer says "God job of allowing his skill players to make plays", nice way of saying he has no arm.

"Tua Tagovailoa 7 of 8 on opening drive, including the 10-yard TD. Great response to a week filled with, well, other stuff."

-Armando Salguero

"The #Dolphins quick throw offense protects Tua from getting hit but doesn't allow anyone to get open deep. And eventually defenses tighten up. Got to hit them with a deep pass attempt once in a while to keep them honest."

3 n OUT

Miami now down 10-7 and it takes them an eternity to move the ball down the field, if they fall behind even by 7-10 it's impossible for Miami to catch up. This almost a must scre drive before the Half, it's not good enough to just be down 3 if you're Miami and god forbid they give it back to Ryan quickly.

Tua takes off on a called dropback pass, didn't see the advantage of him running up the middle and sliding for 3 yds on a 1st down inside the Redzone

Tua then dials up an interception inside the Redzone and takes points OFF the BOARD for Miami

Pitiful throw and a poor decision to throw that ball, receiver was not open, AWFUL!

Halftime score will be 17-7 or 13-7 but it could have been

Miami 14...Atlanta 10

vs

Atlanta 13...Miami 7

That's a big swing on the QB play there, al but nullifies anything good on the opening drive and again not to keep beating a dead horse but you remove that SCRIPTED 1st Drive that they practice and drill all week and know exactly what they want to call on the opening drive, a lot of this should be placed on the OC Doorsteps, let's not let them off the hook at all. Flores is next on that list.

Love the call to kick the FG with 6-7 seconds left, they could have maybe run 1 more play but so not worth it and they are going to take a 6 point lead into the locker room, you'll take that every week, good job Coach Arthur

Miami down 10-7, on the verge of taking the lead 14-10,  Tua throws into Double/Triple coverage to the back up TE Smythe and in the last 2:00 including the final 30 seonds of the 1st Half and the opening drive of this Half with 2 big completions in it.

Atlanta 20...Miami 7

vs

Miami 14...Atlanta 10, but that didn't happen.
