Let me know if you can access the spreadsheet.  I had a setting goofed up, but I believe I fixed it.

Exact Sciences.  EXAS.  They've been hammered hard but have some revolutionary cancer screening that hopefully is coming to fruition soon.  They are more than the poop in the box company we see on TV.

Give me SMURF aka Tokens.com, please
I saw the guy on CNBC last night, I'm interested in this.

I feel like jumping into the metaverse but am going to be cautious until I feel like I have a better handle on it.  Definitely early, definitely bubble material.  That being said, I'm convinced already, that it is going to get a lot of traffic before long, just don't quite know how long will turn out to be.  2 years?  5 years?  On top of that, the best way to invest.

I suppose Facebook is a safe one.

I have a comfortable amount of things that are speculative and long range already.

Edit to say, sorry to derail the convo here,  I actually thought I was posting in the stock thread.  Ill have a pick for this in a day or two.

I’m going to go back to the well (bad pun) and tap a small cap energy stock again.  CIVI (Civitas Resources).

Sold this one in December for the tax break but will be rebuy in January.

In for QDEL. Rumors swirling that they may get bought out in 22. S&P flat on the year, ending at 4800.

Unity Software is my main metaverse play, mainly because they don’t need the metaverse to succeed to still be a strong business. It’s pricey. It’s down 30% from its highs like all growth stocks but isn’t cheap, though it probably won’t be for a long time.

I'll take TRUFF (Red Light Holland), psychedelics sector is entirely beat up at this point.  Rising tide in the sector will lift all ships though and I believe more progress will be made towards favorable legislation and also in clinical trials in 2022.  Still a few years off from any big gains but there should be some positive momentum this year.  I see TRUFF ultimately as a legit player in the supply chain.

I'll go with Alphamin Resources Corp AFMJF - still a big believer in the tin market and think management of this one is doing a great job with their projects.  Need this thing to lift above a dollar and hold there.  If it does and there is a continued shortage of global tin, these guys could really take off.  A potential dividend on a sub-dollar stock is music to my ears so I'll enjoy rooting this one on and think there is little downside.

Going with a long shot that was an IPO this year.

RENT (Rent the Runway)

S&P 500 year end 2022:

I always thought tin was an alloy.  Huh, learn something new every day I guess.

I'll take SNII.  Rigetti computing - quantum play.  At least it's the SPAC that's merging with them.  They are ahead in some areas of the market there, so worth a shot.

S&P 4500.

Desktop Metal (DM) for me.  I wish I had access to this tech when I was a mfg engr.  I have no idea how to value this company, just like the product.

too lazy to do the math, this topic has been around for some years with evidence.     who is the guru?
I've been thinking of going back through and seeing who the top 3 are in each year.  I'm not sure how much data is in the old threads, though.

Not a guru, but I've won once and have two other top-five finishes. I also finished DFL the year after I won. This is a long-drive contest, you're going to need to swing out of your shoes a little.

MTBC  Care Cloud, Inc. is a provider of web-based backend software and services for medical providers. I will buy 100 shares for the lulz, but not on Monday. I suspect I can get a better entry point soon.

Bitcoin mining stock, normally follows the price of bitcoin. Was up to around $15-$16 in Q4 before falling all the way back to around $8....If BTC grows how it has, so should bitcoin mining stocks.
