I like this guy as a below-the-radar LB and was getting ready to draft him this week but saw he didn't even make the box score in the OAK-SF game. No reported injuries.

Does anyone have any insight? He's put up strong preseason games to date so this has me a little concerned.

Was wondering the same thing myself. I checked out the game book at NFL.com and it listed him as a starter.

Didn't see anything about an injury.

LB 52 Q.Groves, LB 53 T.Howard, LB 54 S.Williams, LB 56 D.Nixon, LB 57 R.Brown, LB all played as substitutes. Maybe they showcased Howard or Brown to see if they have any trade value. Detriot needs a WLB - Howard would seem to fit in well there.

Hopefully a homer will chime in...

I'm benching him week 1 till I know otherwise

This is all I could find...lined up at DE in last PS game but didn't hit box score (not that that means anything). Personally, I will also need to see how he is used in a game or two in the RS prior to rolling w/ him in my starting lineup given the uncertainty of the last coiuple games.
